A dual phase fuel feeder is disclosed that can be used to provide both solid fuels and liquid fuels to a boiler, such as a fluidized bed boiler. The fuel feeder includes a sloped chute which defines a solid feedpath. Gas distribution nozzles are located at the base of the fuel feeder, and secondary nozzles are located so as to be able to distribute a liquid or particulate fuel into the solid feedpath. This permits the liquid fuel to contact the solid fuel and be carried into the fluidized bed instead of becoming suspended above the bed.

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Dosieranlage zur stetigen, kontinuierlichen, dosierten Zufuhr eines staubförmigen Schüttguts aus leichten, polydispersen Teilchen aus einer Versorgungseinrichtung (B,SG) in eine Mehrzahl von Förderrohre (FR1,FR2,FR3) zu einem stromabwärts angeordneten Verbraucher. Die Dosieranlage umfasst zumindest zwei Dosierbehälter (DB1,DB2,DB3) mit jeweils einer Austragseinrichtung (AE2/1,AE2/2,AE2/3), wobei die Austragseinrichtung (AE2/1,AE2/2,AE2/3) für jedes der Förderrohre (FR1,FR2,FR3) eine diesem zugeordnete und in dieses mündende Staubflussregelungsvorrichtung (FI1/1,FI2/1,FI3/2) umfasst, und wobei eine Massenstrom-Messsonde (FIC1,FIC2,FIC3) an jedem der Förderrohre (FR1,FR2,FR3) angeordnet ist, die mit der Staubflussregelungsvorrichtung (FI1/1 bis FI3/2) gekoppelt ist, die in das entsprechende Förderrohr (FR1,FR2,FR3) mündet. Ferner weist die Dosieranlage eine Druckregelungseinrichtung auf, die mit an den Austragseinrichtungen (AE2/1,AE2/2,AE2/3) angeordneten Druckmesseinrichtungen (PI1/1,PI1/2,Pl1/3) gekoppelt ist, und die einen Dosierbehälterdruck (PIS2/1,PIS2/2,PIS2/3) zumindest in Abhängigkeit eines Dosierbehälterfüllstands (LIS1,LIS2,LIS3) steuert. Dabei ist eine Pumpvorrichtung (V) mit jedem der Dosierbehälter (DB1,DB2,DB3) koppelbar, die einen Druck (PIS2/1,PIS2/2,PIS2/3) in dem Dosierbehälter (DB1,DB2,DB3) bereitstellt, der geringer ist als ein Druck in der Versorgungseinrichtung (B,SG). Ferner offenbart die Erfindung eine Dichtstromförderanlage, die die Dosieranlage umfasst und ein Verfahren zur stetigen, kontinuierlichen, dosierten Zufuhr eines staubförmigen Schüttguts aus leichten, polydispersen Teilchen.

Erfindungsgemäß wird Brennstaub, insbesondere zur Speisung eines Flugstromvergasers, auf hohe Drücke von 40 bis 100 bar geschleust, wobei die Druckerhöhung auf eine erste Druckstufe durch eine Staubpumpe (2) und auf eine zweite Druckstufe durch eine Staubschleuse (3) erreicht wird sowie der unter Druck gebrachte Brennstaub in ein Dosiergefäß (4) überführt wird. Im Dosiergefäß (4) wird durch Zuführung von Wirbel- und Fördergas über eine Leitung (10) eine partielle Wirbelschicht erzeugt, aus der die Förderleitungen (11) bespeist werden, die zu einem Abnehmer, z.B. einem Reaktor zur Druckvergasung von Brennstäuben führen.

An adjustable device installed at the inlet of conventional junctions/splitters (116) for on-line control of the distribution of coal among the outlet pipes is herein disclosed. The device includes a plurality of flow control elements (60) each positioned upstream of a plurality of flow channels in the riffler (50) for directing coal flow to the outlet pipes. Each flow control element preferably comprises a rounded convex edge leading to straight tapered sides (Fig. 9). The surfaces of the sides may be roughened or textured (63) for promoting turbulent boundary layers (Fig. 9). In addition, conventional fixed or variable orifices may be used in combination with the flow control elements for balancing primary air flow rates. The device allows fine-adjustment control of coal flow rates when used in combination with the slotted riffler, yet it has negligible effect on the distribution of primary air. The combination of the riffler assembly and the coal flow control elements (60) results in closely balanced coal flow. Balanced coal flow is imperative to the optimization of the operation of pulverized coal boiler systems (i.e. reduced pollutant emissions, improved combustion efficiency).

Provided is a powder supply apparatus and powder supply method that make it possible to suppress the occurrence of powder flow volume undershooting while rapidly reducing the powder flow volume. The present invention is characterized by the following: in a rapid load reduction mode in which the flow volume of powder to be supplied to the outside of a feed tank (11) is to be reduced to a given volume after a given period of time, a control unit (60) puts an internal pressure adjustment valve (22) in the exhaust state while also closing the powder valve (21) to a given degree of openness, and once the powder flow volume drops below the powder flow volume that is expected before a given amount of time has passed, at least either the internal pressure adjustment valve (22) or the powder valve (21) is controlled so that the powder flow volume reaches the expected powder flow volume.
