Abstract:
Various embodiments of systems, methods, and computer programs are disclosed for profiling participants in a virtual conference. One embodiment is a method for profiling participants in a virtual conference. One such method comprises: a server establishing an audio conference between a first participant and a second participant via a communication network; the server presenting a conference user interface to a first computing device associated with the first participant and a second computing device associated with the second participant, the conference user interface displaying a first object identifying the first participant in association with a first audio indicator and a second object identifying the second participant in association with a second audio indicator; the server presenting, in the conference user interface, a participant profile control associated with the first participant for specifying one or more profile parameters associated with the first participant; the second participant, via the second computing device and during the audio conference: selecting the participant profile control associated with the first participant; and specifying the one or more or more profile parameters associated with the first participant; and the server storing the specified parameters from the second participant in association with a participant identifier associated with the first participant.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of systems, methods, and computer programs are disclosed for controlling presentation views in an online conference. One embodiment is a method for controlling presentation views in an online conference. One such method comprises: a conferencing system establishing an audio conference, via a communication network, between a plurality of participants; the conferencing system configuring a conference user interface to be presented to the plurality of participants via a corresponding client device in communication with the conference system via the communication network, the conference user interface having a participant view in which each of the plurality of participants are identified with a unique participant object having a graphical representation specified by the corresponding participant and a screen sharing view in which content presented in a first screen of a first client device associated with a first participant may be simultaneously presented in a second screen of a second client device associated with a second participant during a screen sharing session; and the conference user interface enabling the participants to selectively display one or more of the participant view and the screen sharing view during the screen sharing session.
Abstract:
A method for providing a virtual conference includes obtaining participant location information associated with participant identifiers, establishing an audio conference using the participant identifiers, receiving information and communicating the information anonymously to one or more displays, during the audio conference. A distributed system includes client devices associated with respective displays and a conferencing system via a network. A first interface obtains location information associated with respective participant identifiers. An audio conference application establishes an audio conference using the participant identifiers. A second interface receives information and communicates the information anonymously to one or more displays, during the audio conference.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for displaying telecommunication messages through a social networking service. One embodiment includes a telecommunication messaging system (116) that is implemented with a social networking service. The telecom messaging system (116) receives telecommunication messages from a telecommunication network (130) that are associated with a directory number assigned to a phone (124, 126). The phone (124, 126) is operated by a member (120) of a web-based social networking service. The telecom messaging system (116) provides a telecommunication messaging page (400) to display the telecommunication messages to the member (120) as part of a website (114) for the social networking service. Thus, the member (120) is able to view telecom messages, such as voicemail messages, text messages, call logs, etc., through the social networking service.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to interactive training, and in particular, to methods and systems for computerized interactive skill training. An example embodiment provides a method and system for providing skill training using a computerized system. The computerized system receives a selection of a first training subject. Several related training components can be invoked, such as reading, watching, performing, and/or reviewing components, hi addition, a scored challenge session is provided, wherein a training challenge is provided to a user via a terminal, optionally in video form.
Abstract:
A method includes providing at least one entity icon on a screen of a device, providing at least one visual indicator corresponding to a communication channel associated with the at least one entity, where the visual indicator that corresponds to an active communication channel is different from the visual indicator that corresponds to an inactive communication channel, opening a entity application by selecting an entity icon, moving the entity icon and releasing the entity icon, and opening a communication link with the selected entity by selecting the visual indicator corresponding to an active communication channel.
Abstract:
A virtual queuing system and method provides for dynamic control of queue data in accordance with queue control instructions provided by a separate queue control source. The virtual queuing system comprises an interface to a queuing system and an interface to the separate queue control source. The interface to the queuing system provides for obtaining queue data and controlling the queue data in accordance with the queue control instructions provided by a separate queue control source. The interface to the separate queue control source for: i) providing the queue data to the separate queue control source; and ii) obtaining the queue control instructions there from.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for defining and documenting processes, procedures, standards and policies that are succinct and usable, and that are scalable to the complexity of the process and to abilities of the individual user. Steps of a particular process and a relationship of one or more of the steps are identified. Graphical representations of the steps and the relationship as a lean process are provided, wherein the lean process enhances and increases communication and minimizes documentation for providing the graphical representations, and wherein the representations comprise key process elements for the particular process, wherein the key process elements consist of one or more inputs, outputs, activities, process context, entry criteria, exit criteria, purposes, process flow, and roles, and wherein the representation is on a single page if a receiver of the non-verbal communication is an expert audience. If a receiver of the non-verbal communication is an intermediate audience, the non-verbal communication further comprises a process description table having the identified process steps that correspond to the representation of key process elements, wherein the process description table provides guidance and lessons learned relating to the particular process; and if a receiver of the non-verbal communication is a beginner audience, the non-verbal communication further comprises the process description table and training relating to the particular process.
