Abstract:
A printing apparatus which is capable of eliminating a burden on an operator in managing a copy number on a printout and improving security for the printout when a function for printing the copy number on the printout is realized. Printing based on a print job is performed, and a copy number set in units of copies on a printout generated by the printing is printed. Number of printed copies information corresponding to the number of printed copies of the print job is stored, in association with the print job. When the print job stored in a memory section 27 is printed, a printer section 26 prints the copy number on the printout based on the number of printed copies information associated with the print job.
Abstract:
In order to reproduce the content output before, an MFP includes an HDD to store data which includes a plurality of page data having corresponding page numbers, an instruction accepting portion to accept a page number of one of the page data to be displayed on a projector, a display control portion to cause the page data of the accepted page number to be displayed on the projector, a history storing portion to store, for each of the page data displayed, history information in which the page number of the page data, the actually displayed time of the page data, and the actually displayed order of the page data are associated with each other, and a redisplay control portion to cause the plurality of page data to be displayed on the projector based on the history information on the condition that the history information is designated.
Abstract:
A document security system for securely printing documents that are uniquely marked on each page of ordinary or specialized paper with a security mark such that copying and or alteration is prevented, the security mark comprising information relating to the document and further being unique to each page having specific information relating to each page of the document.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes: a generating unit that generates a control image representing control information to be used for controlling an operation that is performed by the image forming apparatus; a superimposing unit that superimposes the control image generated by the generating unit on a print image; and an output unit that outputs a superimposed image generated by the superimposing unit performing the superimposition. The control information is to be used for performing a control operation so that a document formed with pages having the superimposed image printed thereon is collectively processed, with the superimposed image representing the control information. The control information contains the total number of pages of the document and the page number of the corresponding page having the superimposed image printed thereon.
Abstract:
In a digital multi-function peripheral, image data to be output and first log information are generated based on an image forming job. Second log information embedded as digital watermark information is detected from the image data, and the reliability of the digital watermark information is computed. If the reliability is high, the first log information is held in a property storage unit 114 in an image management server 110. If the reliability is low, the first log information is held in the property storage unit 114 and the image data is held in a volume storage unit.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus includes: an image reader configured to read both sides of sheets of an original document to generate page images thereof; an attribute information supplier configured to attach, to the page image of each page, attribute information including a page number of the corresponding page in the original document and a distinction whether the corresponding page is a front side or a back side of the sheet of the original document, when the page image is not a blank page; and an electronic file generator configured to generate an electronic file by integrating non-blank page images, which are the page images with no blank pages.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus that lightens the workload for a serviceman or an administrator who imports setting information into the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes an operation section via which the user can input data. The apparatus stores setting information containing a plurality of settings required for operation control and discriminating information on each setting for discriminating whether the setting is of a common setting item or of an apparatus-specific setting item, changes the discriminating information on each setting of the setting information, according to a specific instruction given by the user via the user interface, and externally outputs the stored setting information.
Abstract:
A digital camera capable of readily recognizing the printing-specifying information that has been set.Printing-specifying information is set for digital image data acquired by photographing. When an image for which printing-specifying information has been set is displayed on a monitor provided in the digital camera, the image is displayed along with the set printing-specifying information.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus is provided that makes it possible to visually identify whether or not additional information is added to image data to be output in a screen in which a preview is displayed easily. The image forming apparatus is provided with an image display portion such as a touch panel for displaying a preview of image data and is capable of outputting such as printing the image data with additional information added thereto. When image data to be output is output with additional information added thereto, a digital multi-functional peripheral synthesizes an existence image showing an existence of the additional information, instead of the additional information, with a preview image to display on the image display portion in displaying the preview image.
Abstract:
This invention efficiently implements encoding processes corresponding to respective image processing functions while minimizing the memory use size in the apparatus in an image processing apparatus having many image processing functions. A data processing apparatus of this invention includes a data reception unit for receiving at least data of a first format for respective pages, a data conversion unit for converting the data of the first format into data of a second format, a page data management unit for managing the data of the first and second formats in first and second page data in association with each other, and a control unit for monitoring a storage state of the data of the first format in the memory, and permitting a predetermined process for the data of the first format in accordance with the storage state. When the control unit determines that storage of the data of the first format in the memory is complete, the control unit permits the data conversion unit to start a data conversion operation from the first format to the second format. Also, the control unit monitors completion of the conversion operation of the data conversion unit and a storage state of the data of the second format in the memory, and permits a predetermined process for the data of the second format in accordance with the storage state.
