Abstract: A method of detecting a location of a fault in a distribution line having a first and second terminal and a line segment disposed therebetween is provided. The method includes identifying synchronized voltage and current phasors at the first and second terminal prior to and during the fault, calculating equivalent sequence components for the voltage and current phasors, locating a virtual load point on the line segment, and calculating a voltage at the virtual load point. The method further includes calculating a compensated load current at the first and/or second terminal based on one or more of the current phasors prior to and/or after the fault, and calculating a distance from the virtual load point to the fault based on the voltage at the virtual load point, the compensated load current, and one or more of the equivalent sequence components to detect the location of the fault.

Abstract: A method for updating a process control system having a plurality of different hardware units includes providing a firmware data package, connecting a computing unit to an interface unit, transferring the firmware data package to the interface unit, providing current status data comprising information about the different hardware unit and information about the current firmware versions of the different hardware unit, checking whether the different hardware unit and the current firmware versions are compatible with the firmware update data for the different hardware units based on the current status data, and determining a checking result. When the checking result is positive, firmware update data in the different hardware unit is installed, and when the checking result is negative, an incompatibility message is provided.

Abstract: Current sharing between the plurality of parallel-connected ARCP or hard-switching converter legs is balanced by a control arrangement. The control arrangement senses a leg output current in each of the parallel-connected converter legs and have an individual autonomous leg-specific switching instant adjustment for the main switches of each of the parallel-connected converter legs to shift the first mode A commutation of the respective converter leg later in time and to shift the second mode B commutation of the respective converter leg earlier in time by a variable timestep proportional to the value of the sensed leg current of the respective converter leg. In other words, if the value of the sensed leg output current in one converter leg is larger than in the other converter leg, then in mode A, the higher-current leg will commutate later than the leg with less current, and in mode B, the higher-current leg will commutate earlier than the leg with less current.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for detecting anomalies in a robotic system in an industrial plant. The robotic system is associated with a computing system configured to detect an anomaly in the robotic system. The computer system monitors configuration parameters of the robotic system and process parameters associated with the robotic system. Further, the computing system detects an association between at least one configuration parameter and at least one process parameter for obtaining optimal configuration parameters and optimal process parameters. The optimal configuration parameters and optimal process parameters are analyzed for detecting an anomaly. At least one parameter among the configuration parameters and the process parameters is identified causing the anomaly. Thereafter, the detected anomaly is validated, valid setpoint is estimated and the estimated valid setpoint is updated in the analytics model. The updated analytics model is subsequently used to detect anomaly accurately.

Abstract: An object bundling apparatus includes an opening defining an engagement channel having an inner wall. At least one body engagement member is disposed on the inner wall having a holding surface laterally bound by a first end and a second end. The holding surface has a non-linear surface profile between the first end and second end. A strap is adapted to be passed through the opening in a direction of insertion, the strap having a plurality of strap engagement members. Each of the strap engagement members includes a contact surface laterally bound by a first strap end and a second strap end. The contact surface has a non-linear surface profile between the first strap end and second strap end. The non-linear contact surface profile of the strap is configured to nest within the non-linear holding surface profile upon advancement of the strap in a direction opposite the direction of insertion.
