PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing information security in a wireless communications system for avoiding system malfunction. SOLUTION: The disclosed method comprises receiving a data bit sequence and a user identity sequence, performing a CRC (cyclic redundant check) operation on the data bit sequence to generate a CRC bit sequence, and masking the CRC bit sequence with the user identity sequence to generate a coded bit sequence according to a formula. The formula comprises a first equation and a second equation, and the second equation calculates a plurality of coded bits of the coded bit sequence according to most significant bits or least significant bits of the user identity sequence and the CRC bit sequence. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for improving the control channel reduction function of a CPC (the continuous continuity of a packet) in the user terminal of a radio communication system to prevent a system error. SOLUTION: The method includes: a step for starting the control channel reduction function, based on a function state variable value; and a step for redetermining the function state variable value when a cell update process is started and executing the corresponding operation.
