PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device, inflating an airbag upward from the lower side of a window and further absorbing a shock. SOLUTION: This airbag device includes an airbag 78 disposed between a lower panel 16 of a window 19 and a lining 18 covering the inside of a cabin and inflated upward along the inner surface of the window 19, wherein a shock absorbing member 83 is interposed between the airbag 78 and the lining 18. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly restrain an occupant even if a small size inflator and an air bag are used. SOLUTION: This restraint system protects the occupant M sitting on a seat cushion Sc at a collision. The restraint system is provided with an inflator 1 for jetting a high pressure gas at the collision; the air bag 2 inflated and deployed by the high pressure gas jetted from the inflator 1; and a plurality of rings 3a-3f for specifying a deployment position of the air bag 2 at inflation/deployment of the air bag 2. Accordingly, when the air bag is inflated and deployed at the collision, since the deployment position of the air bag is specified by the plurality of rings 3a-3f, the sitting occupant can be effectively restrained by the small size inflator and the air bag. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for restraining the waist of an occupant capable of enhancing the waist restricting performance without degrading the comfortableness. SOLUTION: The airbag device for restraining the waist of the occupant installed under a seat cushion of a vehicle and restricting the forward movement by restraining the waist of the occupant seated on the seat cushion in case of emergency is equipped with an airbag stored in the condition compressed under the seat cushion. The airbag has a body part in cylindrical shape extending to the left and right of the vehicle in the non-compressed condition and side face parts blocking the two side faces (on the left and right) of the body part and assuming approximately a parallelogram when the airbag is spread, and spreading is made by offsetting forward or backward from the bottom surface when the airbag is inflated and spread. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the design of a member required for restriction function and connection function in a belt winding machine. SOLUTION: The belt winding machine comprises a housing, a restriction device for a belt shaft having at least one restriction means controllable sensed to a vehicle and/or the belt and a driving gear rotated through a drive device and has a tensioning device applied to the belt shaft. The driving gear can be connected to the belt shaft at starting of the tensioning device and the driving gear of the tensioning device can be bonded to the belt shaft so as to transmit force through the restriction device of the belt shaft. According to the present invention, since the restriction function and the connection function are separately performed, the restriction device for the belt shaft has a claw provided on the restriction device, drivable by the driving gear and connecting the driving gear to the restriction device for the belt shaft in addition to a restriction means for performing restriction of the belt. SOLUTION: The chamber C with the bent hole H having a gas passage flow rate variable device G on the back surface of the inflator 20 is fixed to a flange 22 of the inflator 20. When the inner pressure of the chamber C becomes not less than a set inner pressure, the bent hole H is opened and the pressure can be appropriately controlled with an inflator bracket 30 which circulates the gas from a gas exhaust nozzle 21 to the back surface side of the inflator 20, a body 50 having a fixed flange part 51 and one or plurality of gas exhaust openings 53 on the side wall 52, an annular projection part 54 formed along the inner side wall of the body 50, a piston 60 where a head 61 is pushed to the annular projection part 54, and the gas passage flow rate variable device G which is inserted between the bottom surface 55 of the body 50 and the head 61, and has a spring 70 energized in such a direction as to press the head 61 to the annular projection part 54. SOLUTION: In this occupant protector 10, when a vehicle frontal collision occurs, gas is supplied to a right airbag 24 and a left airbag 26 to be inflated under the control of a control device 54, whereby a vehicle upper side 20A of the seat cushion 20 is displaced to the upper side of the vehicle to inhibit an occupant from moving to the front of the vehicle at the lower surface of the bottom of the occupant so that the occupant is constrained and protected. In this case, a right occupant detecting sensor 56 and a left occupant detecting sensor 58 detect the seated position of the occupant on the seat cushion 20, and the expansion amounts of the right airbag 24 and the left airbag 26 are controlled according to the detected seated position of the occupant. SOLUTION: When an inflator operates when suddenly decelerating by a front collision of a vehicle, high pressure gas is jetted inside the inflator bag 15 from the inflator. The inflator bag 15 pushes up a seat cushion spring 14 and a seat cushion by inflating and unfolding by filling the jetted high pressure gas inside. The seat cushion spring 14 and a retainer 17 move together with the inflator bag 15, and the retainer 17 falls off together with inflation of the inflator bag 15, and the seat cushion spring 14 is displaced upward by rotating around a rear frame 24 in a rear end part. The inflator bag 15 lifts a front part of the seat cushion, and applies restraint to an occupant. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart flexibility to the edge part of a woven seat belt. SOLUTION: The belt is woven with several warp yarns 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and at least one weft yarn 10 and has a central zone 2 and mutually facing two terminal edge zones 3. The warp yarns in the central zone have predetermined shrinking properties. The belt has at least one edge zone between the central zone and one outermost edge.
