Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for providing a two-dimensional CT image corresponding to a two-dimensional ultrasonic image by matching the images between a three-dimensional ultrasonic image and a three-dimensional CT image.
SOLUTION: The system includes: a CT image forming part for forming a plurality of three-dimensional CT images of an object of interest; an ultrasonic image forming part for forming at least one three-dimensional ultrasonic image; a processor for acquiring a first transformation function by matching the images between the plurality of three-dimensional images and the at least one three-dimensional ultrasonic image; and a user input part for receiving input information. The ultrasonic image forming part forms a two-dimensional ultrasonic image corresponding to the input information from the at least one three-dimensional ultrasonic image. The processor acquires a plurality of two-dimensional CT images from the plurality of three-dimensional CT images by using the input information and the first transformation function, detects a plurality of similarities among the two-dimensional ultrasonic image and the plurality of two-dimensional CT images, and selects the two-dimensional CT image corresponding to the two-dimensional ultrasonic image.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noble metal nanowire having directionality toward the surface of a single crystal substrate by using a noble metal oxide, a noble metal, or a noble metal halide as a precursor and to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: There are provided a noble metal single crystal nanowire vertically or horizontally grown to the surface of a single crystal substrate, which nanowire is produced by heat-treating a precursor placed at the front end of a reaction furnace and a semiconductor or nonconductor single crystal substrate placed at the rear end of the reaction furnace in an atmosphere of a flowing inert gas and a method for producing the same. According to the present invention, the noble metal nanowire can be produced by using a noncatalytic vapor-phase transfer method, the process is therefore simple and reproducible and has a merit of suitability for mass production. The produced nanowire is a high-purity and high-quality noble metal nanowire in a perfect single crystal state free from defects and impurities. The noble metal nanowire has a specified directionality toward the surface of the single crystal substrate and is controllable in relation to its directionality and arrangement.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of interrupt scheduling, which minimizes the preemption latency from the occurrence of an interrupt to the performance of a target process.
SOLUTION: The method of interrupt scheduling comprises: without allowing a target process woken up when an interrupt occurs to enter into an executable queue, directly comparing the priority of the woken-up target process with that of a current process performed before the occurrence of the interrupt, and executing a rescheduling in accordance with the compared result; and performing direct context switching with respect to the current process into the target process in accordance with whether or not the rescheduling is executed. Accordingly, in the method of interrupt scheduling, the preemption latency caused by the interrupt in the operating system of the computer system can be minimized by eliminating the process of allowing the woken-up target process to enter into the executable queue and the process of selecting a process with the highest priority on the executable queue.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide end plates for a fuel cell stack capable of enhancing bending rigidity per weight by applying a core material with a hybrid form having a honeycomb and foam structure to the end plates with a sandwich structure fastened on both ends of a fuel cell stack and improving a deformation rate without a fracture and reducing thermal transmission, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The end plate for a fuel cell stack is formed with a structure wherein the end plate fastened on both ends of the fuel cell stack has suitable rigidity so as to give uniform surface pressure to the fuel cell stack and its weight can be reduced for weight reduction and low-temperature startability can be improved. The low-temperature startability is improved by a method wherein carbon dioxide having a very small thermal conductive coefficient is poured to foam of a foam-filled honeycomb core material.
