    Abstract: An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) comprises one or more baseband processors to process a bandwidth part (BWP) switching request from a serving cell at slot n, and to perform an active BWP switch to a new BWP on the serving cell at a time no later than slot n+Y, wherein Y is a BWP switching delay. The one or more baseband processors are to accommodate a timing advance (TA) value to determine when to perform the active BWP switch. The apparatus can include a memory to store the BWP switching request.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a generation Node-B (gNB), User Equipment (UE) and methods to configure measurement gaps are generally described herein. A serving cell gNB may transmit, to a neighbor cell gNB, a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) status request message and may receive, from the neighbor cell gNB 105, a CSI-RS status update message. The serving cell gNB may determine, based on timing information in the CSI-RS status update message, a measurement gap to be reserved for transmission of CSI-RS from the neighbor cell gNB to a UE that is served by the serving cell gNB. The serving cell gNB may transmit, to the UE, control signaling that indicates the measurement gap. The serving cell gNB may receive, from the UE, a measurement report that indicates a signal quality measurement based on the CSI-RS from the neighbor cell gNB.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for implementing multiple receive (multi-Rx) chain downlink (DL) reception when the receive timing difference (RTD) at a user equipment (UE) from multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs) is greater than the cyclic prefix (CP). An embodiment operates by configuring a first base station (BS) to transmit a first data and a second BS to transmit a second data simultaneously to a user equipment (UE) during a first symbol period, where the first data from the first BS is received by the UE using a first receive beam and the second data from the second BS is received by the UE using a second receive beam. The embodiment also configures the first BS to transmit a reference signal (RS) to the UE during a second symbol period that is subsequent to the first symbol period. The embodiment then determines a scheduling restriction applied to the second BS during a plurality of symbol periods, wherein the plurality of symbol periods include the second symbol period. Finally, the embodiment provides the scheduling restriction the second BS.
