Abstract:
An air filtration system includes a frame directing an airflow through the air filtration system and a media filter disposed in the frame including one or more filtration elements. The system further includes one or more alignment features and one or more sealing elements interactive with the one or more alignment features to prevent incorrect installation of the media filter into the frame. A method of installing a media filter in an air filtration system includes aligning an alignment feature of the media filter with an opening in a frame of the air filtration system and inserting the media filter into the frame. The alignment feature ensures that the media filter is inserted in the frame in a correct orientation.
Abstract:
A continuous online process for rejuvenating whole stream of contaminated lean sulfolane in an extraction system is provided. In particular, a rejuvenator is installed in the solvent circulation loop to remove the contaminants continuously to keep the solvent clean, effective and less corrosive. Specifically, the rejuvenator comprises a high pressure vessel with a removable cover and a round rack with vertical stainless steel tubes fitted in the high pressure vessel. A magnetic bar is placed in each stainless steel tube. A screen cylinder is installed inside the ring of stainless steel tubes. As the contaminated sulfolane is passed through the rejuvenator, the rejuvenator picks up its contaminants. The rejuvenator can be dissembled to remove the contaminants periodically. The rejuvenator is characterized by simple in construction, reliable in operation, and low in operation and maintenance costs. With this rejuvenator, the extraction system can be operated at high efficiency and high capacity without the dreaded corrosion.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dust collecting filter and an electric dust collecting apparatus with the same for eliminating dust in the air, smoke that contains oil which occurs during cooking, and exhaust generated from the factories. The invention mainly comprises: a discharge electrode formed with a discharge pole from which electric charges are emitted; and a dust collecting electrode to which dust attaches thereon, wherein the dust collecting electrode is inserted into a plate and has a fixed size. With this constitution, the present invention has high purification efficiency due to the miniaturization of the invention, has strong mechanical intensity, enables repair or replacement of only a damaged part, and enables easy maintenance due to the separation of a dust collecting unit and a discharge unit. In addition, by the standardization of the dust collecting filter, a plurality of dust collecting filters or multi-layered dust collecting filters can be mounted according to installation capacity whereby said filters may be easily applied to various places and designed in larger forms. Moreover, the state of operation of the filter can be checked at all times, and the dust collecting filter and a power supply unit are switched automatically according to the opening and closing operation of a door because an electric connector is positioned on the inner side of the door.
Abstract:
An intense field dielectric air filtration system includes a perimeter frame for wall or ceiling mounting at the inlet of a return air duct for an air conditioning apparatus. A door including a grille disposed thereon is mounted for movement on the frame between working and non- working positions for access to an air filter unit, a pre- filter unit and an intense field particle charging unit. Contacts on the filter unit and the field charging unit engage cooperating contacts on an enclosure mounted on the frame when the door is closed to supply electrical power. An interlock is provided to interrupt power when the door is moved to an open position or the grille is removed. A control system disposed in the enclosure includes user control features accessible when the door is in an open position. An alternate embodiment includes a support frame for positioning the filtration system in ductwork or the like other than a return air inlet.
Abstract:
A power tool (1) comprises a housing (2) having intake ports (2a), and a ventilation duct (2c). A barrier wall section (21) is formed in the rear section of the ventilation duct near the intake ports. An accommodiation section (21a) shaped as a rectangular hole elongated in the front-to-rear direction is formed in the bottom of the barrier wall section (21). The accommodation section functions to accommodate a dust-collecting case (22) The dust-collecting case accommodates a plurality of magnets (24) and is detachably mounted in the housing.
Abstract:
An air purification system includes an electrostatic collection grid module inside the housing of the system to remove particulate matter from the air flowing through the housing. The collection grid module is removable from a side of the housing. The collection grid module is equipped with a handle and a release mechanism. A user may draw out the collection grid module from the housing by pulling the handle while activating the release mechanism. Thus, the collection grid module may be cleaned with ease.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing particulates from the gas stream of small-scale exhausts. Typically these small-scale exhausts would be the flue of a domestic wood heater or fire. The particulates contained within the smoke stream of a wood fire have been shown to be harmful to both health and the environment. It is therefore beneficial to remove these particulates at the source. The present invention is designed to be fitted to new wood heaters or existing installations with equal ease. The only technical requirement being the installation of a mains power source where required. The present invention is designed to be cleaned by simply removing the cap and replacing the collector electrode with a clean one. The removed collector electrode can then be cleaned as reused as a replacement.
Abstract:
Known filters for central and district heating systems must be cleaned frequently and further there is risk that the filter may clog completely. The invention solves this problem and allows in addition removal and cleaning of the filter unit while the heating system is still operational. When the pressure drop is being too high a spring loaded valve (9) permits the circulating water to pass through a channel (7) by-passing the filter unit (3). When the valve (5) is turned in its blocking position then the filter unit (3) is unpressurized as a one-way valve (6) prevents pressure from the outlet side. In this position the filter unit may be removed and the circulation is maintained through the channel (7).
