Abstract: Dispensers for liquids are provided having structure for containing a pool of liquid in the dispenser, to a predetermined level. A discharge chamber contains air above the level of liquid and a discharge device extends upwardly at least partly through the discharge chamber from below the level of the pool and has an external outlet. The discharge device includes a foamer chamber having a wall defining very small holes located above the pool level, and pressure means is coupled to the discharge chamber and operable to increase the pressure in the discharge chamber so that a pressure applied on the pool level drives liquid into the discharge device. Simultaneously air is forced through the small holes in the foamer chamber to meet the liquid passing through the foamer chamber where progressive foaming takes place before the resulting foam is forced through a discharge outlet.

Abstract: A squeeze bottle foam dispenser with improved foam consistency throughout the range of manual squeeze conditions. The foamer includes a pressure operated valve for simultaneously restricting flow of the compressible and incompressible fluids until a predetermined threshold pressure is developed within the bottle by manual deformation thereof. Thus, foam is not dispensed from the container until a pressure is developed within the bottle sufficient to produce a desirable foam. The disclosed foamer is for storage and operation in the inverted orientation. This avoids the necessity of an extended spout and its concomitant problems.

Abstract: A foam dispenser utilizes a deformable reservoir of foamable fluid and air, a discharge device and an arrangement for producing foam which includes a foam overlay or filter. When the dispenser is operated, air from inside the dispenser is mixed with the fluid to produce foam. Abstract: The discharge device comprises a member having a plurality of liquid flow openings, an eductor tube, a liquid flow path from the eductor tube to the member with the plurality of liquid flow openings and a valve positioned in the liquid flow path. The valve is movable between a blocking position and a discharge position. Abstract: A deformable spray dispenser comprises a valve unit which is capable of axial displacement within the container with respect to the container cover between a spray-discharge position and an air-suction position. Abstract: A foam liquid dispensing device which mixes liquid capable of foaming and air together and dispenses the mixture as aerosol. The dispensing device comprises a container and a cap detachably attached to the container. The cap includes an outer cover and an inner cover. The outer cover includes a frusto-conical upper portion provided on the top with a jet nozzle. The inner cover includes an inner cylindrical portion having a frusto-conical portion extending upwardly therefrom and provided with a discharge port and a plug at the upper end of the frusto-conical portion, with the frusto-conical portion and plug defining a flow passage in cooperation with the frusto-conical portion of the outer cover. An inverted cylindrical porous member is disposed within the inner cover and has a mixing chamber therein and is provided with an outlet at the top. A check valve is disposed within the mixing chamber below the outlet. A tubular support member is received in the mixing chamber and a pipe is disposed between the container and tubular support member whereby one fluid from the container flows through the interior of the tubular member into the mixing chamber and the other fluid from the container flows through a side flow path defined between the annular support member and is cylindrical skirt of the inner cover and pores in the porous member into the mixing chamber to mix with the one fluid therein. When the container is compressed, the check valve clogs the outlet and the air and liquid mixture flows through the porous member to form an aerosol which flows through the jet nozzle.

Abstract: A dispenser mechanism is provided for capping squeeze-bottle type containers, wherein a dual valve arrangement provides for the dispensing of the contents of the container with automatic closure during periods of non-use.
