Abstract:
PURPOSE: An egg collecting apparatus of upright elevator type is provided to install height of a transfer conveyor within a certain range regardless of the number of cage. CONSTITUTION: An egg collecting apparatus of upright elevator type comprises: an egg collecting conveyor(100) for transferring egg; a lifting and lowering device(200); and a transfer conveyor(300) for transferring the eggs to collection site. The lifting and lowering device comprises: a guide member for guiding the egg collecting conveyor; a chain for rotation; a motor for transferring powder for rotation motion of the chain; plural egg carriers; and a step of counter roller for transferring the egg through the egg collecting conveyor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a conveying system (1) for shock-sensitive items, in particular eggs, which comprises a plurality of conveying devices (101, 201, 301) and in which said items are transferred from a conveying device to another one. More particularly, the present invention relates to a conveying system (1) in which said items are transferred from a conveying device (101) oriented in a substantially horizontal direction to an adjacent conveying device (201) oriented in a substantially vertical direction, without the risk of being damaged. According to the invention, the advancing movement of the conveying device having a substantially horizontal orientation (101) is not a movement at constant speed but, on the contrary, it is a movement at variable speed, sometimes accelerated and sometimes decelerated, and the transfer of the conveyed item from said conveying device to the conveying device having a substantially vertical orientation (201) takes place when the advancement speed of said conveying device having a substantially horizontal orientation (101) is at its minimum value.
Abstract:
An egg transfer system (600) is provided. Such a system includes a first securing arrangement (550) configured to engage and deflect about an egg (1) such that the egg is capable of being seated within the first securing arrangement. A second securing arrangement (550) is opposingly positioned with respect to the first securing arrangement, the second securing arrangement being configured to engage and deflect about an egg (1) such that the egg is capable of being seated within the second securing arrangement. The first and second securing arrangements (550) are configured to interact through relative movement with respect to one another, such interaction thereby causing an egg to be transferred therebetween. Associated systems and methods are also provided.
Abstract:
A packaging dispenser (1), for dispensing stacks of nested trays (13A-G) to a packing device (D), has a frame (3), a first conveyor (7) for conveying stacks of nested trays (13A-E) and a second conveyor (25, 27) downstream of the first conveyor (7) for receiving stacks of nested trays (13F, 13G) from the first conveyor (7). The packaging dispenser (1) also includes a vertical chute (29) underneath the second conveyor (25, 27) for dispensing stacks of nested trays (13G) to a packing device (D). The second conveyor (25, 27) has a pair of laterally spaced conveyor elements for supporting only lateral edge regions of a stack of nested trays (13F). The laterally spaced conveyor elements (25, 27) are retractable to allow a stack of nested trays (13F, 13G), supported thereon, to be released into the chute (29).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for manipulation of eggs, particularly (though not exclusively) removal of eggs from a crate, at least comprising a gripper. The present invention relates to a device which comprises: • - the at least one gripper (9) which is configured to grip the egg and which comprises at least two legs (14), these legs being designed to grip round the egg. The device comprises here at least one upward pusher (8) which is configured to push up the at least one of the eggs out of the egg drawer, container or crate with receiving locations for accommodating at least one of the eggs each, wherein the at least one gripper (9) is configured to grip the egg pushed up by the pusher (8), wherein the pusher (8) comprises a base (15) for supporting an egg and at least one arm (16) reciprocally movable along the base (15) for aligning an egg accommodated on the base. Use can alternatively or additionally be made within the scope of the disclosed invention of a carrier template.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for transferring eggs from egg -trays to an egg processing apparatus, comprising the step of delivering trays of eggs to a pick-up zone, lifting the eggs from the trays ( 3 ) using a first lifting device (7), and transferring the eggs to a receiving conveyor (4) for further transportation to the egg processing apparatus (1). The transfer step includes setting the eggs down on a positioning device (8), collecting them to form a larger array, lifting them from the positioning device using a second lifting device ( 9 ), and setting them down on the receiving conveyor. Eggs are preferably set down on the positioning device in small arrays, each corresponding substantially to the array represented by an egg tray. The positioning device preferably comprises holding devices (82), each for holding an egg and which are displaceable in relation to each other.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for moving products (2), i.e. picking up, transferring and placement thereof, in particular packaging units such as egg boxes as well as patterns thereof, wherein the packaging units comprise in particular a rectangular form with, at least partly, an edge part (23) therearound, wherein moving is carried out with a gripper (1) with at least two gripper blades 13), substantially parallel to each other and rotational about corresponding parallel axes (11A,12A), for gripping a product at two opposite sides at the edge parts (23) mentioned, and with slightly inwardly bent gripper blade edges (14) which grip close - fittingly around the edge parts (23) mentioned, while after placement of the packaging units on a substantially horizontal supporting surface the gripper blades (13) are rotated about the axes mentioned, while the gripper blades move substantially against the top of the packaging units and simultaneously, the gripper blade edges move away from and upwards relative to the edge part (23) while thereupon, the gripper blade edges (14) take up a substantially vertical position with their ends against the edge part (23), whereupon the gripper (1) is moved in substantially vertical direction away from the packaging unit and releases this. With this manner of release, in a highly suitable manner, with grippers, patterns can be formed of packaging units to be placed next to each other, such as egg boxes.
