Abstract:
In a destination floor registration device 800, a boarding detection unit 804 detects a boarding of an elevator user; when no button operation by destination floor registration buttons 500 is performed after a predetermined period of time has elapsed since detection of the boarding, a voice destination floor registration unit 805 outputs from a voice output device 400 a message for prompting a passenger to pronounce a destination floor; a voice recognition unit 806 recognizes the destination floor pronounced by the passenger; and a voice destination floor registration unit 805 requests an elevator car control device 200 to register the destination floor recognized by the voice recognition unit 806.
Abstract:
An elevator group management system improving operational efficiency in consideration of a situation change that has occurred after a destination floor registration in a hall. An assigned car review mechanism executes assigned car review processing in units of review registration information sets each including at least one piece of provisionally assigned car registration information managed by a registered destination floor hall call management section during a review period. After ending the assigned car review processing, the assigned car review mechanism modifies the contents of the provisionally assigned car registration information in the registered destination floor hall call management section based on the contents of the review registration information set after modification. That is, the assigned car review mechanism newly registers the provisionally assigned car registration information after review and erases the provisionally assigned car registration information before review at the same time.
Abstract:
In an elevator system, an elevator-hall-call/destination-floor-call registration device provided at an elevator hall includes, besides a destination floor registration button such as a numeric keypad, etc. formed by buttons having respective numbers of 0 to 9 for registering a destination floor, a disabled person button declaring that a customer is a disabled person. For example, in the elevator-hall-call/destination-floor-call registration device, when the disabled person button is pressed and the destination floor call is inputted, a group management control device registers the destination floor call, and determines a car to be assigned for the destination floor call, rings a chime and further turns on a hall lantern corresponding to the determined assigned car. Like the above, the group management control device rings the chime and turns on the hall lantern only when the disabled person button is pressed.
Abstract:
A method, an elevator system control unit, computer-readable media and an elevator installation for allocation of a user to the elevator installation, which is provided with a plurality of elevator cars and with a destination call control unit, wherein the user lodges a destination call at the destination control unit using a communications unit. The destination call control unit determines a group of elevator cars for serving the destination call and makes the group known to the user by the communications unit. The user selects an elevator car from the group by the communications unit. In addition, information for guiding the user to the selected elevator car is communicated to the user by the communications unit.
Abstract:
A secure access system and method is disclosed, the access system utilizing a powered secure card with access rights codes that allows an authorized user to gain access to an elevator, an area behind a door, or a particular floor in a building without requiring the user to retrieve the secure card and physically present the secure card to a sensor. Sensors in the access system communicate with a wireless transceiver in the secure card. Each sensor is capable of reading only the type of access code or codes that the sensor has been authorized for reading. A sequence of sensors for allowing or, denying access to areas or functions for the secure card increases security and prevents illicit copying of the access codes and duplication of the secure card.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a solution for giving service requests to the conveyance system of a building. The conveyance system comprises at least one user interface, comprising at least one service request pushbutton for giving service requests to the conveyance system. An identifier device is given into the possession of a passenger, in which identifier device data is recorded for determining the service profile of the identifier device. The data contained in the identifier device is read when a passenger presses or touches a service request pushbutton of the user interface. On the basis of the data read from the identifier device the service profile of the identifier device is determined. On the basis of the service profile a service request connected to the service request pushbutton is activated.
Abstract:
Elevator hall call devices have a programmable touch screen which can be programmed to display (a) ten-key destination call buttons, (b) up hall call and down hall call buttons, or (c) N-key destination buttons, as well as buttons which identify utilization of major floors of the building, including functions such as cafeteria, sky lobby, parking, public transport, and lobby, as well as tenants. A controller programs the touch screen in dependence on (d) traffic volume, (e) time of day, (f) floor of the building where the touch screen is disposed or (g) identity of a particular passenger (VIP) in the vicinity of a touch screen.

Abstract:
An elevator system (20) includes a transceiver (22) that receives at least one wirelessly transmitted signal (24). In one example, a signaling device (26) includes a plurality of switches (28) that can be activated to provide a signal indicating a desired or intended destination. The signal also provides an indication of the individual from whom the signal is received. A system controller (30) responds to the signal by assigning an elevator car (32) to travel to the intended destination. When the elevator car (32) is situated to receive the individual, in the event that another wireless signal is received, the system provides at least one access feature including delaying closing an elevator car door or generating an audible sound to guide the individual to the car. In one example, the system maintains information regarding expected locations of individuals providing such signals to facilitate providing assistance to them for exiting a building, for example.
