    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw joint for a steel pipe, which is a radial seal-type joint and which combines excellent galling resistance and sealability.SOLUTION: In the screw joint for the pipe, plating with a Vickers hardness of 310 or higher is applied to an inner surface of a box, equivalent to a screw part and a seal part of the box.
