A combination of jute as the base, wool as loop in the carpet or rug as product is unique. The construction of wool loop on top of jute based construction done on traditional handlooms make it a unique product in its segment. This technique can be used to weave any form of design/shape/pattern and size. This also can be made in a different variety of colours.

Abstract:
A process is disclosed for producing a needled carpet, in which an intermediate layer (6) containing thermoplastic foil material is arranged between a support layer (5) and a top layer (7). The three layers are bonded to each other into a carpet by fibers (9), by means of a needling process. The intermediate layer (6) is formed by agglomerated plastic foil material (8) and the needled fibers are fixed in the intermediate layer (6) at least by heat application.

A V-ribbed belt that includes a ribbed surface covered with fabric is provided. The fabric is stretchable in two predetermined directions. A method for manufacturing the V-ribbed belt is also provided. The method includes placing a belt matrix about a mandrel, placing a fabric about the external circumference of the belt matrix which wraps around the mandrel, placing the mandrel inside a shell having a plurality of grooves on the internal circumference, expanding the belt matrix and the fabric toward the internal circumference of the shell and thus pressing the fabric onto the internal circumference having the multi-ribbed structure, and curing the belt matrix with the fabric. The fabric is stretchable to accommodate itself to the multi-ribbed structure.

A reversible, heat-set covered fiber is described, the covered fiber comprising: A. A core comprising an elastic fiber comprising a substantially crosslinked, temperature-stable, olefin polymer, and B. A cover comprising an inelastic fiber. The fiber is heat-set by a method comprising: (a) Stretching the covered fiber by applying a stretching force to the covered fiber; (b) Heating the stretched covered fiber of (a) to a temperature in excess of the crystalline melting point of the olefin polymer for a period of time sufficient to at least partially melt the olefin polymer; (c) Cooling the stretched and heated covered fiber of (b) to a temperature below the crystalline melting point of the olefin polymer for a period of time sufficient to solidify the polymer; and (d) Removing the stretching force from the covered fiber.
