Abstract:
A plate product for finishing a floor or wall is disclosed. The plate product includes a natural-stone surface plate which has a predetermined thickness and is cut to have a predetermined length and width. A reinforcing plate is cut to have a length and width corresponding to those of the natural-stone surface plate and attached to the lower surface of the surface plate. A base plate is cut to have a length and width which are larger than those of the natural-stone surface plate and attached to the lower surface of the reinforcing plate. The upper layer part of the base plate having a predetermined thickness is pushed horizontally at one lengthwise side surface and one widthwise end surface, and the lower layer part having a remaining thickness is pushed horizontally at the other lengthwise side surface and the other widthwise end surface.

Abstract:
Floor panel, with a horizontally and vertically active locking system (6-7) allowing that two of such floor panels (1) can be connected to each other at said sides (2-3) by providing one of these floor panels (1), by means of a downward movement (M), in the other floor panel (1); wherein the vertically active locking system (7) comprises a locking element (12) in the form of an insert; wherein this locking element (12) comprises at least a pivotable lock-up body (14); characterized in that the pivotable lock-up body (14) comprises a support portion (20) which is rotatable against a support surface (21) pertaining to the floor panel (1) concerned, and more particularly in a seat (22).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a locking system for mechanical joining of floorboards (1) constructed from a body (30), a rear balancing layer (34), and an upper surface layer (32). A strip (6), which is integrally formed with the body (30) of the floorboard and which projects from a joint plane (F) and under an adjoining board (1), has a locking element (8) which engages a locking groove (14) in the rear side of the adjoining board. The joint edge provided with the strip (6) is modified with respect to the balancing layer (34), for example by means of machining of the balancing layer under the strip (6), in order to prevent deflection of the strip (6) caused by changes in relative humidity. The invention also relates to a floorboard provided with such a locking system, as well as a method for making floorboards with such a locking system.
Abstract:
Floor covering consisting of hard panels (2), whereby these panels (2) are provided with coupling means on at least two opposite edges made in one piece with the panels (2), as a result of which several of such panels (2) can be interlocked to one another in a horizontal as well as in a vertical direction, whereby said coupling means comprise a tongue and a groove, characterized in that the interlocking in the horizontal direction is formed of coupling parts in the shape of a protrusion (39) in the top side of the above-mentioned tongue (8), which meshes in a recess in the lip (10) bordering the top side of the groove (9), as well as floor panel which makes it possible to realize such a floor covering.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to an installation method of panel comprising a step of assembling panels by fitting projection parts 2, 3 of one panel 1 to insertion grooves 5, 6 of another panel 1, and a step of elastically attaching panels by applying an elastic force between assembled part of panels. Also, the present invention is related to a rail type fixing apparatus for installing panels comprising a rail 20 having a guide groove 21 formed in a longitudinal direction thereof, and a plurality of attaching plates which are guided to the guide groove 21 and are provided movably in the longitudinal direction of the rail 20 and in which a hook projections 32 are provided, and an elastic member which is provided between adjacent attaching plates and applies elasticity between hook projections of the attaching plates.
Abstract:
The invention relates to mechanical connecting means, in particular for panels, which can be connected together in a positive fit in two spatial directions which are perpendicular to each other.
Abstract:
