Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the delay of call and the consumption of system resources by detecting and terminating a looping condition without requiring updating of a routing table.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to systems and methods for detecting and terminating a looping condition occurring in a telecommunications network comprising receiving a call offer having call identification data associated with the call offer at a switching component, querying a looping engine using the call identification data to detect the looping condition, identifying a number of occurrences of the call identification data within a predetermined time frame, comparing the number of occurrences against a predetermined count, and returning a message to the switching component based on the result of the comparison. The message indicates whether the looping condition exists in the telecommunications network.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and a system for verifying identity of a user and a system for generating and maintaining verification codes. The method and the system use system-generated caller numbers as verification codes. When an application system needs to verify the identity of a user, the verification system generates a caller phone number and uses a communication switching system to place a call originating from the caller phone number to the user's phone. The user's phone has a caller ID display function to automatically display the caller number, which serves as a user identity verification code. The user provides the received caller number to the application system for user identity verification. No text messaging or other ways of communication is required. The method and the system can achieve reliable user identity verification. A centralized system may support multiple application systems for user identity verification.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, method and program for managing applications on remote communication devices, such as, cellular telephones on a wireless communications network.SOLUTION: A server 112 on a wireless network 100 stores application threshold event data and manages communication device resident applications through device interaction, such as limiting access to server-side applications, updating the application, or recording the occurrence of a threshold event for other application uses.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for blocking SPAM telephones efficiently, by which normal telephone operations are not affected much by them and callers are not bothered much. SOLUTION: A test is performed with a filter 3 in order to identify a telephone conversation behavior of a calling party 1 before connecting a telephone calling to a called party 2. Accordingly, at the beginning of a call, a voice message is transmitted to the calling party, and while the voice message is transmitted, the presence or absence of a voice from the calling party is continuously determined by checking whether or not the signal energy of the audio channel is higher than a threshold, and when a voice from the calling party is detected while the voice message is transmitted, the call is intercepted and a predetermined threshold is automatically adjusted so that the background noise of the calling side in the audio channel becomes lower than the predetermined threshold. Abstract:
A method and system for selectively establishing a communications connection between an origin and destination in a communications network based on one or mediations rules and one or more lists of prohibited and exempted destination identifiers including preferences either in real-time using a control unit or with a pre-check using an analysis unit while also providing notification messages associated with the allowed or designated allowed communications connections.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee quality of service (QoS) in network services. SOLUTION: A QoS guarantee method includes the steps of: storing a historical record of QoS; inputting allowable maximum service delay of network services; inputting a control level between the QoS of a network service and the number of users; determining, for each service node pair, contents of QoS guarantee that can be provided to each service node based on the historical record, the maximum service delay, and the control level between the QoS and the number of users; monitoring in real time, the QoS of the corresponding service node based on the contents of the QoS guarantee; and regulating the network service of the service node in the case that the QoS of the relevant service node is deteriorated. The present invention can effectively utilize network resources while providing quality guarantee and further can also integrate different operational strategies of different network service providers for quality management.
