Abstract:
An optical unit including a lens unit including a lens and an optical element configured to receive a light beam focused by the lens, and a support member configured to support the lens unit. Cutouts are provided on joint surfaces of the lens unit and the support member, respectively, such that the cutouts on the joint surface of the lens unit match the cutouts on the joint surface of the support member. The cutouts are configured to accommodate a jig inserted thereinto and rotated to move the lens unit relative to the support member and adjust a position of the lens unit in a direction parallel to an optical axis of the lens.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a contact image sensor unit by preventing deformation of a light guide.SOLUTION: The contact image sensor unit of this invention comprises: a light source 10 for lighting a document; a bar-shaped light guide 11 for guiding light from the light source 10 to the document; a rod lens array 12 which forms an image of reflected light from the document, on a photoelectric conversion element 13; a sensor substrate 14 having the photoelectric conversion element 13 boarded thereon; a frame 15 on which they are mounted and which has a positioning part 200 for mounting the light guide 11; and a holder 16 which detachably and slidably supports a part of the light guide 11 in the longitudinal direction and which is detachably mounted to the positioning part 200.
Abstract:
A structure of a line-lighting device permits a rod-like light guide to be attached to a case without rubbing against the case. An end portion of the rod-like light guide provided with a pin is inserted into an opening in a case main body and pushed down, thus making the pin engage with a recess in the case main body. At this time, a distal end of the rod-like light guide is inserted, to some extent, into an opening in a light-emitting unit fixing portion. Subsequently, the rod-like light guide is pushed down and pivoted around the pin so as to be completely contained within the case main body. In this state, the distal end of the rod-like light guide is fitted into the opening and the end face of the rod-like light guide is flush with the outer side face of the light-emitting unit fixing portion.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which the length of a unit in the advance direction of light is made compact while keeping an optical path length from a focusing lens to an object to be irradiated with light, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A fixing member mounting face 702 being a fixing member mounting part is provided at the downstream side of a cylindrical lens 403 being a focusing lens in the advance direction of light, thus the cylindrical lens 403 can be more closely arranged to an aperture 106 side than an example in which the fixing member mounting face 702 is provided at the upstream side of the cylindrical lens 403 in the advance direction of light. Thus, the optical path length from a photoreceptor to a polygon scanner is made short while keeping the shape of the beam spot diameter of write-in light and light quantity on the photoreceptor. As a result, the unit is made compact while keeping the beam spot diameter and the light quantity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is the easy removal, from an opening in a support base, of a document support plate. A document reading unit (6) includes: an image sensor (30), for reading a document; a support base (22) having a box-like shape, for internally accommodating and supporting the image sensor, and an opening through which the image sensor faces a document; a contact glass (23) that is located at the opening, for covering the image sensor and supporting a document that is being conveyed to the image sensor; glass support members (24) linked with the contact glass and arranged on the support base, for supporting the contact glass; and fixing screws (25), for detachably fixing the glass support members to the support base.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit capable of regulating a magnification by providing a cut-out part to allow a wide range regulation. SOLUTION: The cut-out parts 39, 44 having respectively small cut-out parts 39a, 44a are formed respectively in a lens holding member 33 and a lens unit holding member 34, a head part 45 of a jig is inserted into the small cut-out parts 39a, 44a, to be rotated along an arrow mark direction, and the lens holding member 33 and the lens unit holding member 34 are thereby moved relatively along an optical axis L direction. The relative moving direction between the lens holding member 33 and the lens unit holding member 34 can be changed by rotating the jig counterclockwise or by rotating the jig clockwise, according to this manner.
