Abstract:
A scan guide upon image reading by an image reading apparatus having a driving mechanism constructed by a rack and a pinion gear is stably performed. The pinion gear is provided on a downstream side of two contact portions which are in contact with a guide rail of the reading scan. A straight line drawn in a pressure angle direction from a contact point of the rack and the pinion gear upon reading and scanning passes between the two contact portions with the guide rail, so that a stable positional relation between a driving force of the gear and the contact portions is obtained. The stable guiding can be performed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device which can prevent the deformation of a guide rail caused by the opening/closing load of an original retainer, and to provide an image forming device equipped with it. SOLUTION: A restriction portion 70 having a depth of 2-3 mm is provided on the rear side surface 66b of a frame 63 to protrude inward. A screw hole 70a is formed in the restriction portion 70, and when the screw hole 67a of the guide rail 67 and the screw hole 70a are superimposed and then a screw 71 is screwed into the superimposed screw holes, the guide rail 67 is fixed to the rear side surface 66b with a predetermined space therebetween. Abstract:
A motor control apparatus is arranged to drive and control a motor for transmitting the rotating force of the motor through a gear train. In reversing the rotation of the motor, the motor is caused to rotate at a speed higher than a normal rotation speed for a period of time which is about the same as a period of time required for absorbing a clearance or play existing between the gears. In this instance, since the motor is under no load, the motor is rotated at the higher speed with a small current and a small torque. The arrangement effectively lessens a noise generated in reversing the rotation of the motor due to the clearance or play existing in the motor driving force transmitting part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform a scanning guide when images are read by an image reader that has a drive mechanism composed of a rack and pinion gears. SOLUTION: The pinion gears are disposed downstream of two contact parts located in contact with the read and scan guide part. A straight light drawn from a contact point of the rack and each pinion gear toward a pressure angle direction is set so as to pass through a part between the two contact parts. This ensures the stable guide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
An image processor includes an inertia weight for a rotary shaft, which can be added or replaced without removing the rotary shaft from its supporting section by arranging the inertia weight mounted on the rotary shaft so as to stabilize the rotation of the rotary shaft. The vertical weight is formed by splitting a member having an almost cylindrical shape along a plane including the longitudinal axis. A through-hole and a female threaded aperture are formed in joining faces of the split member. The pair of the weight parts can be added and detached from the driving shaft by a securing screw extended into the through-hole and threaded aperture.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolation system for a reliable laser imaging system, having high cost efficiency, capable of controlling the inherent frequency of the system in a plurality of directions, having high performance and reliability, and not having design complexity. SOLUTION: The purpose of this invention can be achieved by the isolation system comprising a substantially rectangular static frame, an imaging assembly including a curved platen supporting an image medium, and an exposure assembly exposing the supported image medium and creating the image medium to which an image is exposed, having a substantially rectangular installation image, and having a size to be accommodated in the static frame, and an assembly of a cable and a spring, for suspending the imaging assembly from the frame, and substantially isolating the imaging components from an external vibration source. Abstract:
A rotating shaft coupling has a plurality of rotating-shaft-coupling-members. One of the rotating-shaft-coupling-members is multi-layered by a coupler connecting a shaft thereto, an elastic body and an inertia body which has a mass activating a torsion load in a rotating direction when the elastic body is rotating. A plurality of the rotating-shaft-coupling-members are assembled into the rotating shaft coupling. By this construction, transmission of the vibration from a motor side to a driven side can be effectively suppressed.
