Abstract: A crime prevention window for special vehicles is provided to improve the resistance against an external physical force and enhance the reliability by installing a window separated from the outside of an inner frame. A crime prevention window for special vehicles comprises an outer frame(10) fixed on a vehicle, an inner frame(20) mounted on the outer frame, and a window(30). The window is separated from the outside of the inner frame to form an escape passage in an emergency. The outer frame consists of an upper frame, side frames, and a lower frame. The upper frame has two receiving grooves lengthwise and an engaging piece protruded between the two receiving grooves. The side frames have two placing grooves connected to the receiving grooves, and assembling pieces protruded between each receiving groove and placing groove. The lower frame connected to an end of the side frames has three loading grooves wherein a first engaging piece and a second engaging piece are projected. The inner frame includes an upper frame, side frames, and a lower frame. The upper frame has rails inserted into the two receiving grooves of the upper frame wherein an engaging groove is longitudinally formed, and a slot groove where the window is mounted. The side frames have rails inserted into the two placing grooves of the side frames in the outer frame wherein engaging grooves including the engaging pieces of the side frame are formed, and slot grooves connected to two ends of the slot groove of the upper frame. The lower frame includes rails inserted into the three loading grooves in the lower frame, first and second engaging grooves between the rails, and a slot groove where the window is mounted and which is connected to the slot groove of the side frame. The window has a transparent part and a slot piece. The transparent part is made of polycarbonates to inspect or detect external circumstances. The slot piece formed around the transparent part is inserted to the slot groove of each frame of the inner frame.
