    Abstract: A turner for home use is provided to improve the convenience of use regardless of size of food by using left and right supporters for preventing damage to the skin due to edible oil. A turner for home use comprises a handle(1) and a supporter(2). The supporter includes a connection part for left/right supporters(5) for fixing the left/right supporters or various supporters, and a supporter fixing part(4) for preventing twist of the supporter. Consequently, the turner for home use is used according to the contents or type of food by using left and right supporters to prevent damage to the skin due to edible oil.

    Abstract: Provided are a ceramide derivative which promotes apoptosis, its preparation method, and a cosmetic composition and a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of skin disease or cancer containing the derivative or its salt. The ceramide derivative is represented by the formula 2, wherein R1 is H or a C1-C14 alkyl group; R2 is H, a hydroxyl group or a C1-C11 alkyl group; R3 is a 6-methyl-pentadeca-1,5,7-triene group, a 1-hydroxy-nonadeca-11-ene group or a nonadeca-1,11-diene group; and R4 is H or a C1-C6 alkoxy group. The method comprises the steps of extracting a starfish with an organic solvent; concentrating the extract under reduced pressure and fractionating the concentrated one with a solvent mixture of methanol and hexane according to polarity to obtain an active fraction; and separating and purifying the active fraction by chromatography. Preferably the starfish is Distolasterias nipon.
