Abstract: PURPOSE: A pressure container made of a compound material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the consumption of fuel of a vehicle by reducing the weight of a pressure container and to improve the productivity of the pressure container. CONSTITUTION: A pressure container(10) comprises an integrated metal liner(12) and a filament collecting band layer(13). To manufacture the pressure container, the metal liner having a cylinder portion(12a), a dome-shaped closing portion(12c) and a dome-shaped boss portion(12b) is prepared. Thereafter, a filament collecting band is prepared. The filament collecting band is impregnated in the thermo-setting resin. The filament collecting band is hoop-wound on the outer face of the cylinder portion to form the filament collecting band layer. A porous thermo-setting polymer film is wound on the outer face of the filament collecting band layer. The filament collecting band layer with the thermo-setting polymer film is hardened thermally. Finally, the porous thermo-setting polymer film is removed.
