Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, many people can easily access and enjoy a rhythm action game providing apparatus with a simple design and an intuitive interface which enable anybody to easily understand and enjoy. For this, specially, provided is an apparatus for providing a rhythm action game capable of auditorily outputting a music and concurrently visually displaying rhythm of the music, comprising: an auditory information output unit for outputting auditory information corresponding to the music; a wave output unit for outputting circular waves, whose diameters extend as time passes, as visual information from source objects on a screen corresponding to the auditory information; and a controller for receiving selection information on music, controlling output of the auditory information, generating the circular waves corresponding to the auditory information, receiving a touch input signal from a user when the extending circular waves cross target objects displayed on the screen, and calculating a matching rate of the touch input signal to the rhythm corresponding to the music, wherein a plurality of extending circular waves are outputted corresponding to the rhythm of the music, and a plurality of linear target objects are outputted to the periphery of the source object.
