    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for downloading a digital file by a user, from a content server to a mobile terminal via a mobile telecommunication network, said method consisting of the following steps: the mobile terminal is connected to the server via the network; the file is downloaded from the server to the terminal in such a way that it is encrypted as a background task; and the file is presented to the user once the downloading has been completed.
