Abstract:
Systems, method and apparatus are described for reducing unauthorized usage in a television distribution system. A television receiver communicates with base stations of a wireless communication network. Based on the communications with the base station, the television receiver identifies its location and transmits the location information to a data collection system through the wireless communication network. The data collection system utilizes the location information to identify unauthorized uses of the television receiver.
Abstract:
A programming communication synchronizer embodiment communicates a portion of a program to a receiving device during a first time period, communicates a corresponding portion of the program to a mobile device during a second time period, and coordinates the first time period with the second time period so that the portion of the program is deliverable to a presentation device coupleable to the receiving device at approximately the same time the corresponding portion of the program is deliverable to the mobile device.
Abstract:
Various embodiments described herein relate to apparatus for executing software in a secure computing environment. A secure processor can be used and configured to request a context swap from a first context to a second context when switching execution from a first portion of software to a second portion of software. A context manager, which can be in communication with the secure processor, can be configured to receive and initiate a requested context swap. A trust vector verifier, which can be in communication with the secure processor and the context manager, can be configured to load a trust vector descriptor upon command from a context manager.
Abstract:
The various embodiments described herein generally provide apparatus, systems and methods which facilitate the transmission of data between a client device (102) and a remote device (108) over a wireless telephone network (106). More particularly, data from a client device is modulated into an audio signal (604) and transmitted to a wireless telephone (104). The wireless telephone (104) receives the audio signal and places a phone call to a remote device (108) over a wireless telephone network (106). During the phone call, the wireless telephone (102) transmits the audio signal across a voice channel of the wireless telephone network (706) to the remote device (108). The remote device (108) receives and decodes the audio signal to extract the transmitted data.
