Abstract: The invention relates to ethylene terpolymers containing the following as comonomers incorporated by polymerisation: (a) ethylene, (b) at least one cyclic amide containing at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, and (c) at least one carboxylic acid that is ethylenically unsaturated at least once or at least one ester of a carboxylic acid that is ethylenically unsaturated at least once. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said ethylene terpolymers and to the use of the same.
