    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure perfectly automatic and continuous inserting of a press-in connector to a PCB. SOLUTION: An assembling device assembles an electronic component being provided with a pair of contact pins on a printed wiring board 14. The device is basically provided with a subframe or a base 10 mounting a table thereon which can move to a first direction X and a taking-out/inserting head 20 which can move between a component supplying unit 50 and the table 12 on which the printed wiring board is mounted, to a second direction Y which perpendicularly crosses the first direction X on the table 12. Additionally between the supplying unit 50 and the table 12 the device is provided with a visual checking means which can generate a first image at the real position of the contact pin of the component which is taken out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a connector having a simple structure, which can optimally transmits a signal at a high bit speed and in which signal contacts can be arranged at a high density. CONSTITUTION: A first connector part 4 is provided with a first housing 5, which has a bottom 6 and two opposite side wall 7, 8, and a male contact element and a projecting part projected form the bottom 6 of the first housing 5. A second connector part 11 is provided with a second housing 12, a female contact element and a projecting part. A third housing is provided practically corresponding to the first housing 5, and after mounting the first connector part 4 in a corresponding printed circuit board 3, a bottom of the third housing is fixed to the male contact element of the first connector part 4.     Abstract: PURPOSE: To secure evenness of pressure, in comparison to a conventional connector by positioning automatically so that the pressure to be applied to both sides of a contact is balanced and that the pressure to be applied to various contacts are balanced. SOLUTION: A pair of mating connectors has an insulation housing, and a pair of walls 50, 52 forming a plug contact receiving space 56. The walls of an receptacle contact are connected by a bridging 74 structure that connect the walls. The plug and receptacle contacts are retained in the respective housings by engaging opposed lateral edge portions of the contacts with the housings in a manner to enhance heat dissipation by convection by maintaining substantial portions of the contacts spaced from the housing walls and from each other. The bridging structure has a retention element for engaging respective connector housings to retain the contact in the housings. The open structure of both the receptacle and plug contacts enhances heat dissipation and allows flexibility in achieving desired normal contact forces.
