Abstract:
The method for flame coating tubular elements provides for arranging a said tubular element (2) to be coated at a coating station, providing an applicator unit (3), operating in the coating station, in an inactive configuration, spaced from the tubular element (2), the applicator unit (3) carrying at least one thermoplastic powders flame applicator device (4) and being alternatively operable between the inactive configuration and an active configuration, approached radially to the tubular element (2). After having brought the applicator unit (3) towards the tubular element (2), the method provides for operating the same unit (3) in the active configuration, so as to peripherally engage the element (2) itself. The applicator device (4) is turned on, the thermoplastic powders are fed and the applicator device (4) is operated in motion around and/or along the tubular element (2) so as to flame coating it with a controlled flow of thermoplastic powders.
Abstract:
The apparatus for cleaning surfaces comprises a body (1 ) comprising a tank (2) for containing an abrasive material and a first duct (19) for a flow of compressed air which extends adjacent to said tank (2) along the whole length of said tank (2). The apparatus comprises as well a mixing valve (31 ), associated with said tank (2), for mixing said abrasive material with said compressed air.
Abstract:
The air gun comprises a substantially cylindrical-shaped external case (2), provided at one end with a connection element (8) suitable to enable the connection of the air gun (1) with a device for supplying a fluid to be sprayed, and provided at the opposite end with an expulsion device (10) suitable to enable the outlet of the fluid to be sprayed towards the outside. Inside the case (2) is arranged a vortex generator device (9) provided with a plurality of internal walls (91 ) having curvilinear profiles. The walls (91 ) define a plurality of separated helical pipes (93), in order to give the fluid to be sprayed a helical rotatory motion.
Abstract:
The portable apparatus for cleaning surfaces comprises a base (3); a tank (2) associated with said base (3) at the top thereof, said tank (2) being predisposed to contain at least one abrasive material. At least one mixing valve (9) is associated with the base (3) and connected with said tank (2) so as to receive said abrasive material contained in said tank (2) and mix said abrasive material with a predetermined amount of compressed air. An adjusting member (11) is associated with the tank (2), said adjusting member (11) being predisposed to enable the selection of a predetermined value indicating the amount of said abrasive material to be mixed with said compressed air in said at least one mixing valve (9).
Abstract:
The method for flame spraying thermoplastic powders provides to heat the article to be coated at a suitable working temperature and to feed the said thermoplastic powders transported by an inert gas through inlet (4), a flow of compressed air or nitrogen through inlet (5) and a flow of liquefied petroleum gas through inlet (6), then through respective separated discharge chambers (7, 9, 12) shaped inside a mixing device (1) of a spray gun. The thermoplastic powders are then projected, in a resulting flow (30), on the heated surface of the article to be coated, to determine the melting of the same powders at their contact with said heated surface. At least one couple of flows (31, 32) of compressed air is sprayed converging towards the resulting flow (30) flowing out of the mixing device (1), giving the resulting flow (30) a substantially flattened fan shape. The converging flows (31,32) of compressed air are sprayed by inclined passageways (17,18) located between a first ring of compressed air nozzles (13) and an outside ring of fuel nozzles (14).
Abstract:
The portable apparatus for cleaning surfaces comprises a tank (2) associated with a base (3), said tank (2) comprising at least one couple of chambers (5) predisposed to contain respective abrasive materials, said chambers (5) being hermetically separated from one another; at least one couple of mixing valves (13) associated with said base (3) and connected with respective said chambers (5) each said mixing valve (13) being predisposed to receive said abrasive material contained in said respective chamber (5) and to mix said abrasive material with a predetermined amount of compressed air.
Abstract:
The method for spraying thermoplastic powders provides to feed a flow of compressed air and/or nitrogen and a liquefied petroleum gas through respective separated discharge chambers (9, 12), shaped inside a mixing device (1) of a spray gun (100), the separated discharge chambers (9, 12) being in communication with a mixing chamber (15). Then a flame is ignited at the mixing chamber, through a flame ignition device (30) connected with the gun (100), said device comprising a spark ignition device (31, 310), and a conductor element (32) associated with the mixing device (1) and connected with the spark ignition device (31, 310). The thermoplastic powders are mixed with a transport inert gas, and fed through a further discharge chamber (7) communicating with the mixing chamber (15). Then the spray gun is operated to spray the thermoplastic powders through the flame onto the surface of the article to be coated, to cause the melting of the same powders.
