SOLUTION: A database is set by a memory and the contrast list of substitutive codes of network companies at respective places in the world, international codes, the codes of nations and telephone systems is saved on the database. The telephone numbers of callee are saved in a portable telephone at random. When it is judged by a CPU that a telephone system to be linked is different from an original telephone system, the substitutive code and international code of the corresponding network company are read from the database on the basis of the telephone system to be linked, and the substitutive code and international code of the corresponding network company are automatically added before the telephone number of a callee, and displayed on a display device. Therefore, a user can easily dial to the other area by a portable telephone.
