Abstract:
The present invention relates to halogen-free flame retardant compositions essentially comprising polyamide polymers (preferred is PA6), at least an Hypophosphorous acid metal salt (preferred is Aluminium hypophosphite), at least an organic phosphinate metal salt (preferred is Aluminium Di Ethyl Phosphinate), at least a Nitrogen based flame retardant agent (preferred is Melamine Cyanurate), at least an organic polyhydric polymer (preferred is EVOH) and optionally further conventional components. Such compositions are highly flame retarded at low thickness and have high Glow Wire temperature resistance.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a synergic scale inhibitor composition advantageously used for preventing scale formation and/or scale deposition in aqueous systems comprising dissolved iron ions, particularly in geothermal field, IWT (Industrial Water Treatment) and oil & gas field.
Abstract:
Object of the present invention is to provide halogen-free highly flame retardant styrene impact modified polymers able to perform V0 classification on thin items, according to international standard UL-94.
Abstract:
The invention disclose halogen free thermoplastic or cross linked polymers compositions comprising a polyolefin and/or a polyolefin containing polar co-monomers and a combination of metal hydroxides and inorganic hypophosphite as a synergic, and optionally other ingredients. These compositions show a superior balance of flame retardant properties compared to already known corresponding halogen free formulations. Molded items obtained using the polymer composition according to the present invention are useful in a wide range of injection molding and extrusion applications, especially cables.
Abstract:
The present invention describes the preparation of highly-performing “Acrylamide Free” polyelectrolytic polymers by using not toxic monomers and the way such new monomers can be advantageously used in the field of several civil and/or industrial applications. The new polyelectrolytic polymers developed herein can be then used both as replacement of the common acrylamide-based polymers and in the applications wherein the absence of residual toxic polymerization monomers is requested.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to halogen-free flame retardant compositions, essentially comprising linear polyesters polymers, at least an Hypophosporous acid metallic salt (Aluminium hypophosphite is preferred), at least a Nitrogen based flame retardant agent (Melamine cyanurate is preferred), at least an organic polyhydric compound and optionally further conventional components. Such compositions are highly flame retarded.
Abstract:
