    Abstract: An instrumented, load-sensing washer that can be used on a bolted joint to facilitate determining an axial clamping load of the bolted joint. The washer includes an annular washer body having first and second oppositely disposed axial ends and an outer circumferential sidewall. At least one strain gauge is provided on the circumferential sidewall and is configured to sense a deformation of the washer body do to clamping forces of the bolted joint. The washer further includes a communication assembly operatively coupled with the at least one strain gauge. The communication assembly may include an integrated circuit adapted to receive electrical signals from the at least one strain gauge related to the axial load borne by the washer.

    Abstract: A sealing device comprising a plug (1) intended to be placed in a threaded hole, or removed therefrom, respectively by screwing and unscrewing, the plug comprising :
    a central body (4) provided with a screw thread, locking and unlocking means opposing spontaneous unscrewing of the plug, automatically activated by the rotation of the plug and its corresponding movement in the direction of screwing along a longitudinal axis (X), the locking and unlocking means comprising a first releasable coupling component (7) coupled for common rotation with the central body (4) and a second coupling component (8) which can be immobilized in rotation with respect to the threaded hole during screwing, wherein the second coupling component (8) has a central bore provided with a catch (39) and is mounted by an insertion of said screw thread through said bore followed by a displacement of said catch (39) into a retaining position in which said catch precludes reverse movement of said screw thread out of said bore.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a shut-off device comprising a plug (1) intended to be placed over a threaded orifice (2) of a casing (3), or to be removed therefrom, by screwing and unscrewing respectively, the plug comprising a central body (4) bearing a screw thread (5), and locking and unlocking means that oppose the spontaneous unscrewing of the plug and that are activated automatically by the turning of the plug (1) and its corresponding progression in the direction of screwing along a longitudinal axis (X).
