Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel epoxy resin having improved heat-resistance, thermal expansion properties and processibility, and to a thermosetting resin composition comprising the same. To this end, the present invention provides an epoxy resin of Chemical Formula 1 as disclosed in the Description, an epoxy resin composition comprising the same, and a packaging, substrate and transistor formed thereof. When a composition that contains an epoxy resin with a specific side functional group according to the present invention and/or an epoxy resin with a specific core structure is cured, a filler forms a strong chemical bond with the epoxy resin, thereby maximizing filling effects of the filler for the epoxy resin. Moreover, with the specific core structure, heat resistance and heat expansion properties of a cured product are substantially improved (CTE is reduced), and enhanced glass transition properties, strength and processability are demonstrated.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling posture that enables the adjustment of the shape of a backrest plate according to the shape of the body or spine, so that the user may maintain a comfortable or healthy posture. Said apparatus comprises: a plurality of air cells that are deployed at the part where the back of the user is contacted, the quantities of air whereof are adjusted independently from one another; a plurality of air volume adjustment parts that inject air into each of said plurality of air cells or remove air injected into each air cell to adjust the shape of each air cell; a spine shape measurement part that measures the shapes of said plurality of air cells to measure the spinal shape of a user; and a main control part that sets up information on the reference spine shape, and compares said reference spine shape with the spinal shape of the user that has been measured at said spine shape measurement part to control said plurality of air volume adjustment parts in order to match with said reference spine shape.

The present invention concerns a rigid, dual-servo nano stage, which allows for finer movement and comprises a moving platform of improved rigidity. A stage according to one aspect of the present invention is comprised of a work platform whereupon the object to be worked on is placed, a motor that provides rotary power, a shaft that moves said work platform while being rotated by said motor, a shaft geared with said work platform and a motor that rotates said shaft. Said stage also comprises a linearly-moving part in which a hollow is formed, into which one end of said shaft is inserted, provided between said shaft and motor, which moves said shaft linearly in the axial direction by expanding and contracting, and a telescopic part that expands and contracts by same distance as said shaft has been moved by said linearly-moving part.

Disclosed is a digital garment using embroidery technology. In the digital garment, a digital embroidery pattern is formed on a common garment to provide a communication path, an antenna pattern, etc. The digital garment comprises a garment made of a textile and having one side and the other side opposite to each other, a digital embroidery pattern formed along the inner or outer surface of the garment using embroidery technology to provide a communication path to the garment, a sensor attached to the garment and electrically connected to the digital embroidery pattern to convert physical signals to electrical signals, an arithmetic unit attached to the garment and electrically connected to the digital embroidery pattern to process the electrical signals inputted from the sensor, and a communication module attached to the garment and electrically connected to the digital embroidery pattern to perform wireless communication. Further disclosed is a method for fabricating the digital garment using embroidery technology.

The present invention relates to a method for the selective adsorption of a noble metal catalyst onto a surface of a polymer. More particularly, the method of the present invention includes a first step of masking with a photomask, the surface of a polymer adsorbed with a photosensitive metal ion, and radiating light onto the surface of the polymer such that the photosensitive metal ion on the unmasked surface is oxidized, and a second step of permitting the photosensitive metal ion which is not oxidized in the first step to react to a noble metal catalyst such that the noble metal catalyst is adsorbed onto the surface of the polymer.

The field of the present invention relates to a scrubber using mesh filter and an exhaust gas treatment system using the scrubber, which makes it possible to collect powders on-time with little need for maintenances or repairs of the scrubber. More particularly, in the field of semiconductor fabrication industries the main process such as deposition or etching is rarely interrupted for the maintenance of the scrubber, hence the productivity is enhanced and the environment is saved. The present invention comprises : a process chamber to perform a fabrication process of the semiconductor devices; a process vacuum pump to inhale the exhaust gas from the process chamber; a housing provided with an inlet port and outlet port for an exhaust gas; a mesh filter which is placed between the inlet and outlet port of the housing, which passes the exhaust gas through, and which captures powders contained the exhaust gas at a capturing surface thereof; a powder detaching means to detach powders from the capturing surface of the mesh filter; a discharge port which is provided at a side of the housing and connected to a vacuum suction means to release the powders detached from the housing; a by-pass line which connects the process chamber directly to the process vacuum pump; and on/off valves controlling the flow of the exhaust gas from the process chamber to either the scrubber or the process vacuum pump.

Provided are a percussion absorbing pad and a helmet using the same. The percussion absorbing pad and helmet are formed as a percussion absorbing elastic member of a three- dimensional elastic fiber in a hemispheric shape, and include a percussion absorbing bonded portion formed on at least two symmetrically opposed locations of the percussion absorbing pad. The percussion absorbing pad and the helmet using the same have superb flexibility and have sufficient shock absorbing capability.

Disclosed herein are a flexible aerogel sheet and a preparation method therefore via a dry process. The aerogel sheet includes a needle-punched non-woven fabric, and aerogel particles charged in the fabric. The preparation method includes: scattering aerogel particles in a needle- punched non-woven fabric web; preliminary needle punching the non- woven fabric web; main needle punching the preliminary needle-punched non- woven fabric web; and laminating the main needle -punched non- woven fabric web by thermal treating surfaces thereof. With the use of needle punching, the aerogel particles can be charged in voids in the non- woven fabric, and upper and lower non- woven fabric webs can be firmly attached to each other by bridged fibers, without a binder. Also, the needle punching provides the aerogel sheet with pressure -resistance and load-resistance and prevents deformation of the aerogel sheet due to damage to the aerogel particles. The aerogel sheet having no binder has no risk of clogging in aerogel pores, resulting in superior thermal-insulation property.

A body lifting device for beds according to the present invention comprises: a fixing part; a supporting unit, connected to the fixing part of a bed which includes a moving part configured to enable adjustment of the angle thereof with the fixing part, and which has a predetermined height; a driving force transmission member which has one end connected to the moving part and the other end extending toward the fixing part, has at least one part between one end and the other end that is supported by the supporting unit to form a supporting point, and has a distance from the supporting point to the other end which varies depending on the angle adjustment of the moving part; and a lifting unit which is configured to support at least one part of a user's body, is connected to the other end of the driving force transmission member, and lifts the user's body selectively according to the movement of the driving force transmission member depending on the angle adjustment of the moving part.
