    Abstract: The present invention relates to a preparation method for biodegradable polymer microparticles and the microparticles prepared by the method. More specifically, the preparation method for polymer microparticles, comprises: dissolving a biodegradable polyester-based polymer in DMSO, dispersing the resulting solution in a low-temperature hydrocarbon solution to obtain frozen DMSO microparticles and then introducing the DMSO microparticles into a low-temperature aqueous salt solution to dissolve the DMSO and remove the salt. The present invention provides a preparation method for novel polymer microspheres that are excellent in biocompatibility, biodegradability, porosity and mechanical strength, can be injected with a syringe by controlling the size of microcarriers and are mass-producible. Since the microparticles obtained with the preparation method of the present invention are biodegradable, biocompatible and come in diverse sizes, they can be used effectively as messengers for damaged or tissue regeneration cells by in vivo injection with a syringe.
