Abstract:
A film heating element includes a substrate (1), an electrothermal film layer (2) coated on a surface of the substrate (1) and made of a material having a PTC effect, and two electrodes (3) mounted on two opposite sides of the electrothermal film (2) layer and each electrically connected to the electrothermal film layer (2). Thus, the film heating element has a simplified construction and does not need a temperature control.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for treating a flue gas, comprising: step (A) desulfurizing a flue gas to obtain a desulfurized flue gas comprising NO x , SO x , and CO 2 ; step (B) providing oxygen for an oxidization to obtain an oxidized flue gas; step (C) rinsing the oxidized flue gas with water to obtain a rinsed flue gas and a nitric acid solution; and step (D) contacting the rinsed flue gas with a basic solution to absorb the CO 2 in the rinsed flue gas. The method for treating a flue gas can largely reduce the content of CO 2 and NO x in the flue gas. Besides, the obtained product can be used as a carbon source and nitrogen source for algae cultivation.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a platelet-containing composition prepared by contacting platelets with a medium for preserving. The medium comprises anticoagulant, cryoprecipitate and thrombin. The present invention also provides a method for long-term preservation of platelets, comprising the steps of: (a) adding anticoagulants, cryoprecipitate, thrombin in normal saline; (b) adding a platelet-containing medium into the solution formed in step (a); and(c) lyophilizing the platelet-containing solution formed in step (b). Moreover, the present invention yet provides a medium for preserving non--nucleus cells.
Abstract:
A far infrared tubular porous ceramic heating element which is suitable for various kinds of catalyst, heater and electric conductor... etc. Inside the body, a plurality of via holes is formed, and the crossing portions of the walls of via holes are formed in arc shape so as to prevent breaking and disturbance to heat flow.
Abstract:
A compact disk receiving device includes a cover (20), a base (30) pivotably connected to the cover, and a support plate (50) located between the cover and the base. A shaft (40) is rotatably engaged between two first lugs (23) extending from a side of the cover. The shaft has a first hook member (42) and the support plate has a second hook member (52) which is engageable with the first hook member so that the support plate is able to be slid between the cover and the base. An opposite side of the side having the first hook member is an open side so that two shafts can be piled up by inserting the first hook member of one shaft into the open side of the other shaft.
Abstract:
A building emergency evacuation device includes an upright post arranged adjacent to a building. The post has a lower end fixed to a base which is fixed to or at least partially embedded in the ground to firmly support the post in position. The post has a plurality of support bracket plates fixed thereto and radially extending therefrom. The support bracket plates are arranged along a helical path around the post to support thereon a helical chute which is sized to accommodate people to slide down therealong. The helical chute has a plurality of access passages extending therefrom to connect to each floor of the building so as to allow the residents of the building to get into and thus slide down along the chute. A top member is fixed to a top end of the post on which a plurality of water sprinklers are arranged to spray water down onto the chute for providing protection against for example a building fire and serving as a lubricant for helping people sliding down the chute. The chute has a plurality of guiding rods arranged between any two successive turns of the helical chute to prevent accidental fall-off of the people sliding down the chute.
Abstract:
Thermosetting polymer containing concrete compositions which exhibit plastic-like properties are formed by admixing an aqueous polymer containing latex emulsion together with a water binding substance and a catalyst. The latex is comprised of a thermosetting unsaturated polyester resin suspended in water containing an emulsifier. The water binding substance and the catalyst are combined to form a hydraulic material prior to mixture with the latex. Upon mixing of the latex and hydraulic material, the catalyst polymerizes (crosslinks) the resin and the water of the latex hydrates the water binding substance such that a formable paste-like concrete composition is formed. The concrete may then be cured and set into any desired shape.
