PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an addition curable silicone rubber composition providing silicone rubber having high transparency and exhibiting a blue color, and further having durability of the blue color and the transparency.SOLUTION: There is provided an addition curable silicone rubber composition containing (A) linear polyorganosiloxane having two or more alkenyl groups of 100 pts.mass, (B) polyorganosiloxane resin having one or more alkenyl group of 15 to 300 pts.mass, (C) polyorganohydrogensiloxane having two or more hydrosilyl groups in a molecule of the amount so that the hydrosilyl group becomes 0.8 to 2.5 mol based on the total amount 1 mol of alkenyl groups of (A) and (B) components, (D) a hydrosilylation catalyst of the catalyst quantity, and (E) a blue pigment consisting of ultramarine blue and/or phthalocyanine blue of 0.001 to 0.15 pt.mass.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition suitable for an oxygen permeable hydrous contact lens that can avoid using an organic solvent which will impair the strength of a polymer in copolymerization reaction and that can avoid modifying a polymer surface after copolymerization reaction.SOLUTION: A curable composition for an oxygen permeable hydrous contact lens comprises: (i) a monomer represented by the general formula (I) (where R1 is an acryloyloxy group or methacryloyloxy group, R2 is a four- to eight-membered cyclic hydrocarbon group, R3 is a hydrophilic group or a linear or branched C1-4 alkyl group substituted with one or more hydrophilic groups, R4 is a silicon-containing group, and e is 1 or 2); (ii) a hydrophilic monomer; and (iii) a silicon-containing monomer.
