    Abstract: A replacement tube for a manifold is provided. The replacement tube includes a closed cell foam and a reinforcement strip. The closed cell foam is formed in a cylindrical tube and flexible to absorb pressure pulsations in a chamber of a suction manifold or in another device. The reinforcement strip is fixed along a length of the closed cell foam to support the closed cell foam from flexing and collapsing along the length of the closed cell foam.

    Abstract: Replaceable wear inserts of a material resisting abrasive wear due to particulates within pumped fluid are used for the inlet and/or outlet of a pulsation dampener coupled to the outlet of a land-base or mobile-mounted pump. The wear inserts may be integrated with pressure orifice devices contributing to pressure pulsation dampening. The wear inserts may have internal passages or be mounted to create turbulent flow through the pulsation dampener to mitigate the risk of dead spots accumulating particulates. The wear inserts may be sized for either “loose” or “tight” fit within the inlet and outlet to facilitate removability despite the potential for particulates embedding within the gap. Grooves may be provided with O rings to seal against pressure leaks.

    Abstract: A multi-pump pump system includes at least two pumps and a system pulsation dampener sized and configured to reduce a magnitude of pressure pulsations within a combined flow output by the at least two pumps, together with at least one mini-dampener coupled between the outlet of one of the pumps and header pipe(s) carrying flow from one of the pumps into the system pulsation dampener, the at least one mini-dampener sized and configured to reduce the magnitude of pressure pulsations over the system pulsation dampener alone. Optionally, a mini-dampener may be coupled between each pump and the system pulsation dampener. A single header pipe may carry combined flow from the at least two pumps into the system pulsation dampener, or separate header pipes may carry individual flows from the pumps into the system pulsation dampener.
