PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure complete structural homogeneity of a belt layer and other reinforcing structure.SOLUTION: In a field of manufacturing a tire, a belt structure (2) is manufactured by strip segments (5) respectively including parallel strips incorporated in an elastomer layer and continuously laid in a relationship of mutually approaching circumferentially on an annular support (3). In laying the respective segments (5), angular rotation of the annular support (3) is performed with a correction axis (Y-Y) in a radial direction to a rotation axis (X-X) of the annular support itself as an axis. The correction axis is arranged substantially in a position of the center of gravity to the segment (5) to be laid. Thereby, even when the annular support (3) presents a crown area having a curve cross section profile, complete correspondence with the adjacent strip segment on each of the respective strip segments (5) is secured.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable substantial structural simplification of the apparatus, reduction of bulkiness, reduction of production and maintenance costs of the apparatus, improvement of reliability and improvement of the tire production speed and flexibility.SOLUTION: A tire formation method includes a step of producing a continuous slender element of an elastomer material which is extruded from an extruder at a linear delivery speed (V), a step of supplying the continuous slender element directly on the moving surface of a conveyer, a step of causing the continuous slender element to advance, along a specified direction on the moving surface at a linear advance speed (V) different from the linear delivery speed (V), to the proximity end of the conveyer adjacent to a molding support body, a step of imparting the continuous slender element to the molding support body to form a wound coil-like body so as to form a constituent member of the tire, with the molding support body rotating at a peripheral speed (V) relative to the proximity end of the conveyer. The peripheral speed (V) is set to be different from the linear delivery speed (V) so as to deform the continuous slender element.
