Abstract: 183,108. Vendome, R., and Marcoux, H. July 13, 1921, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Air-pressure sprayers.-An atomizer for perfumes or antiseptic liquids or solutions comprises a reservoir C for the liquid forming a piston on which fits a tubular casing A, the casing and reservoir being both provided with openings closed by valves B, D. A cap F, to which the casing A may be screwed, has a conical seating for a nozzle member G, which is retained in place by a spring H bearing against a nut K and a member I Screwed in the member G is a member L formed square at its lower end to fit a corresponding hole in the cap F and carrying at its upper end a conical part N ending in a needle valve. In operating, the reservoir is charged with liquid, the member G rotated to close the valve N, and the casing A reciprocated to force air into the reservoir C until sufficient pressure is produced, when it is screwed to the cap F. On rotating the member G, the part L will move downwards, opening the valve N and allowing liquid to be forced through the tube R past the screw thread L to the outlet O.
