Abstract:
An arrangement for a cross-country ski binding, in particular a skating binding (15) and a shoe (16) adapted for use with the binding, is provided on its front sole (12) with engaging elements complementary to and capable of being introduced into engaging elements in the binding to create an articulating connection. The sole-side engaging elements include a bow (11) offset towards the rear in relation to the front sole end and extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sole and more or less parallel to the sole outer surface. The complementary binding-side engaging elements include a retaining hook (6) which grips over the bow (11) in particular from behind, the bow being capable of movement from a closure position into a release position and back. The retaining hook (6) can be moved from the closure position into the release position by an actuating element (3, 4) coupled to it against the force of an elastic element which exerts a forwards-directed bias pressure on it, in particular a spring element (5).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a sole for a cross-country, trail or telemark ski-boot. According to the invention, in order to attach a boot of this type to a cross-country, trail or telemark ski-binding between the ball region and the rear end, in particular at the rear end thereof, the front section (15) of the sole comprises means (e.g. undercut (17)) for engaging a clamping element (e.g. clamping cable (12)), such that the front sole section (15) can be clamped in between the front delimitation (27) of the latter and said engagement means (e.g. undercut (17)). A further reinforcing element (26) is embedded in the front section (15) of the sole. The reinforcing element (26) extends between the front delimitation (27) of the sole and the engagement means (e.g. undercut (17)) for the clamping element (e.g. clamping cable (12)) such that the resultant clamping force vector (28) lies over the zero line (29) of the reinforcing element (26), said zero line extending approximately parallel thereto.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention concerns a combination of a ski binding (10), in particular a cross-country, touring or Telemark binding, and a shoe (11) adapted for use therewith, the front end of the shoe being secured in the binding (10) by a pre-tensioned springy tensioning element (12; 48) so as to allow the heel (13) of the shoe (11) to be lifted without hindrance during touring or cross-country skiing. The tensioning element (12, 48) grips the front sole (15) of the shoe (11), in particular between the ball area of the foot and the rear part of the sole, more specifically, preferably on the underside of the front sole of the shoe (15).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cross-country or touring ski binding for cross-country ski boots which have on the front soles thereof, in particular on the front ends of the soles, complementary engagement members insertable into engagement members of the binding (10) for producing an articulated connection. The engagement members on the soles comprise an articulated pin extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski and substantially parallel to the sole tread, and the complementary engagement members of the binding (10) comprise a holder (13) engaging over the articulated pin and forming a hinge therewith. The holder (13) can be moved from a closing position to a releasing position and vice versa by an actuation lever (15) mounted to be pivotable on the binding. A flexor (16) is operative between the front end of the sole and the binding(10) or the ski and exerts a restoring force on the boot when the heel thereof is raised from the upper surface of the ski. The closing and releasing positions of the holder (13) are defined by corresponding locking positions of the actuation lever (15).
