Abstract:
A stopper (100) for a food jar (50) is described that may be used to store and transport food items. The stopper (100) includes a bottom wall (140) and a sidewall (180). The stopper (100) includes one or more vent passages (250) connecting the bottom wall (140) and the sidewall (180) to provide pressure relief. A vent gasket (300) is provided at the bottom wall (140) that opens when pressure inside of a container (60) of the food jar (50) is elevated to allow air to pass into the vent passages (250) and vent outside of the container (60).
Abstract:
A beverage filter or treatment bottle system has a bottle, lid, and a beverage improvement component such as a filter element. A filter element may be positioned to separate the interior space of the bottle into a filtered beverage compartment and an unfiltered beverage compartment. A tube passes through the filter into fluid communication with the filtered beverage compartment. The tube extends through the unfiltered beverage compartment to a nozzle in the lid of the bottle. A lid cover is fastenable onto the lid to enclose and close the nozzle. A filter cartridge may be provided. A UV sterilizer may be provided. An air bypass may be provided.
Abstract:
A lid for use with a beverage container is described. The lid includes a lid body to fit into an opening of the beverage container. The lid includes a stopper that threadably engages with the lid body. A fluid passage is formed between the lid body and the stopper. The rotation of the stopper relative to the lid body provides an indication that the stopper and the lid body are in the open configuration and/or the removable configuration. The indication may include an audible indication, a tactile indication, or an increase in resistance.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for forming vacuum insulated containers, such as beverage and food containers, are described. The methods and systems include using a laser to close openings in walls of the container while the container is held at vacuum conditions. The closing of the opening forms the vacuum space within the walls of the container.
Abstract:
A spill resistant lid assembly (10) is provided for closing the open top (12) of a drink container (14). The lid assembly (10) includes a spout housing (16), a valve plate (18), a resilient valve seal (20), and an attachment cover (22). The valve seal (20) includes an inlet diaphragm (96) and an outlet diaphragm (104) that cooperate with a pair of valve posts (46,72) to resist leakage of a beverage from the drink container (12) while allowing a flow of beverage from the drink container (14) when a user applies suction to an outlet port (42).
Abstract:
A beverage container system is described. The beverage container system includes a lid assembly with a slider to selectively close a beverage container. The slider is biased to remain in closed and open positions.

FIG. 1 a perspective view of a first embodiment of our new design for a beverage container; FIG. 2 is a front view thereof; FIG. 3 is a rear view thereof; FIG. 4 is a right side view thereof; FIG. 5 is a left side view thereof; FIG. 6 is a top view thereof; FIG. 7 is a bottom view thereof; FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of our new design for a beverage container; FIG. 9 is a front view thereof; FIG. 10 is a rear view thereof; FIG. 11 is a right side view thereof; FIG. 12 is a left side view thereof; FIG. 13 is a top view thereof; and, FIG. 14 is a bottom view thereof. The broken lines showing in the figures are included for the purpose of illustrating portions of the beverage container that form no part of the claimed design. The dash-dot lines showing in the figures are included for defining the bounds of the claimed design that form no part thereof. The second embodiment of a beverage container is shown with a symbolic break in its length. The appearance of any portion of the article between the break lines forms no part of the claimed design.
Abstract:
A lid assembly for a drinking bottle is described. The lid assembly includes a lid core component and a lid base. The lid core component extends and retracts relative to the lid base to open and close a flow of liquid through the lid assembly. The lid core component includes a fastening member that limits the extension of the lid core component.
