Amethod for single-cell analysis according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: Culturing a first cell in a culture medium on a bottom side of porous membrane; Applying a sample including a second cell on a porous membrane in a culture medium; Isolating the second cell into single cell units in a pore existing in the porous membrane with a external force such as agitation and gravitational force; Generating an interaction situation between the first cells and the single cell-level second cell; Analyzing a cellular phenomena of the first cell or the second cell.

The present invention relates to a catalyst with a core-shell structure for methane oxidation, a method of preparing the same, and a method of methane oxidation using the same, and the catalyst comprises a core structure consisting of a nano-support and core nanoparticles; and a shell coating layer coated on the core structure in which the core nanoparticles have a particle diameter smaller than that of the nano-support and are coated on the nano-support to form a core structure, and it has excellent thermal stability during methane oxidation reaction at high temperature and an effect of increasing methane conversion and formaldehyde selectivity.

The present invention relates to Caffeine Orange, a novel aqueous-phase fluorescence turn-on sensor for caffeine that is structurally based on a BODIPY-scaffold. The present invention further provides for methods of detecting and measuring caffeine in aqueous media. A change in the intensity or visible color of the fluorescence is detectable by either a fluorimeter or by the naked eye. The methods disclosed herein provide for the utilization of a reverse-phase SPE column, optionally as a component in a syringe or a microfluidics-based automation detection system. The invention further provides for the solid phase extraction of an analyte such as caffeine from a liquid medium, the extraction occurring on a microfluidic disc.

A method and device for analyzing deformation of a secondary battery having an electrode assembly with a tab received in a case, the deformation analysis method including obtaining a first image by performing computed tomography (CT) imaging on the secondary battery, calculating a first position of the tab from the first image, obtaining a number of charge and discharge cycles of the secondary battery after charging and discharging the secondary battery multiple times so that the secondary battery deteriorates, obtaining a second image by performing CT imaging on the secondary battery deteriorated, calculating a second position of the tab from the second image and determining that the electrode assembly is deformed if an amount of change between the first position and the second position is greater than a reference value.
