Abstract: An industrial textile has two layers, a web-side layer and a wear-side layer. The web-side layer has machine direction yarns (1) and binding cross-machine direction yarns (5). The wear-side layer has machine direction yarns (3) and cross-machine direction yarns (4). The binding cross-machine direction yarns (5) extend from the web-side layer to the wear-side layer and bind a portion of the wear-side layer machine direction yarns (3) to bond the web-side layer and the wear-side layer together, and wherein the web-side layer is a non-plain weave.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for adjusting S/Na-balance of a pulp mill, wherein an aqueous pulp mill liquor containing sulphides is diverted into a bioreactor and oxidized by means of sulphur-oxidizing microbes, thereby producing an aqueous suspension from which elemental sulphur can be separated as a precipitate and the residual solution may be directed to causticizing. Optionally, prior to oxidation in the bioreactor, the aqueous pulp mill liquor may be first stripped to obtain a gas stream containing H2S which is then scrubbed with a scrubbing solution to obtain an aqueous spent scrubbing solution containing sulphides, in which case the residual solution can be used to replenish the scrubbing solution.

Abstract: An elongated planar or profiled component for a manufacturing machine of a fibrous cellulosic web, such as paper, board or tissue web, is at least partially formed from a composite material having a continuous polymer matrix, and reinforcing inorganic fibers embedded in the continuous polymer matrix. The continuous polymer matrix is biodegradable and the reinforcing inorganic fibers are biodegradable glass fibers. A method is disclosed for recycling elongated planar and/or profiled components used for manufacture of a fibrous web.

Abstract: A method for producing aqueous hydrochloric acid from flue gases is provided. The method comprises conveying water to a first scrubber (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702) or to a line (112b, 212b, 312b, 412b, 512b, 712b, 712c) to use the water in a scrubbing liquid of the first scrubber. The method also comprises providing flue gas containing chlorides into the first scrubber (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702) and scrubbing the flue gas containing chlorides with the scrubbing liquid by contacting the flue gas with the scrubbing liquid in the first scrubber (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702). Dilute hydrochloric acid and a flue gas derivate (104, 204, 304, 404, 504, 704) are produced. The method comprises letting out at least some of the dilute hydrochloric acid from the first scrubber (102, 202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702) as a scrubber bleed, separating solids suspended by the scrubber bleed in a solids separator (192, 592, 692), conveying the scrubber bleed from the solids separator (192, 592, 692) into an evaporation vessel (194, 594, 694) and concentrating the scrubber bleed in the evaporation vessel (194, 594, 694) to produce hydrochloric acid vapor having a concentration of 5-22 wt-%. A corresponding system is also provided.

Abstract: A ragger (4) for a removal of reject from a pulper (2) in a pulping system (1) has a drawing roll (5) which draws the reject from the pulper (2) in the form of a ragger rope (3). The drawing roll (5) has a drive shaft (6) to which a pulley (7) is mounted and over which the ragger rope passes to a cutter. At least one measuring instrument (14) is mounted with respect to the ragger to measure the quantity and direction of the force applied to the drawing roll by the ragger rope (3) as it is drawn out of the pulper (2). The ragger is part of a pulping system (1) having a pulper (2) for preparation of a fiber pulp suspension and a method for controlling reject handling in the pulping system (1) is provided.

Abstract: A support assembly (40) for supporting the furnace (22) of a boiler (10) to a support frame (12) of the boiler. The support assembly comprises a first and second assembly parts (56, 8). The first assembly part (56) attaches a pipe (18), f.ex. a downcomer, to a supporting beam (32, 88). The second assembly part (58) attaches the same pipe (18) to another supporting beam (30, 86). The support assembly (40) may be obliquely positioned. Alternatively, the support frame further comprises an oblique, connecting supporting beam (84) that connects the first and second assembly parts. In this case, the first and second assembly parts attach the pipe to the connecting supporting beam (84). The first and second assembly parts define first and second points of support (52, 4) that transmit loads. The first or second assembly part may be a hanger rod. A boiler plant comprises the above-mentioned boiler, support frame for the boiler and support assembly.

The first primary bond part (510) has been welded to the first secondary bond part (520) to form a first primary bond (530) that bonds parts of the first heat exchanger tube (100). Thus, the first primary bond (530) limits a first primary aperture (533) and a first secondary aperture (534) formed by the holes (514, 515, 524, 525), wherein straight parts (101, 103) extend through the first primary bond (530) via the apertures (533, 534).
