Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for correcting a color of light being generated by an LCD image system having an LED and an LCD glass component that is illuminated by the LED.SOLUTION: A plurality of color correction filters 26 are constructed, with providing a predetermined, differing color shift of to light being generated by the LCD glass component, on the basis of a measured color of the light being generated by the LCD glass component 28. The selected filter may be placed either adjacent to an LED 12 or adjacent to the LCD glass component, or both, during construction of the LCD image system. Each of the color correction filters is configured on the basis of the known region of the color change including the light generated from the LCD glass component. Each filter provides a color shift that shifts the color of the light being generated by the LCD glass component from outside a predetermined target color area back into the predetermined target color area.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauge having a pointer which has a relatively simple form capable of reducing the production cost, and easily perform back illumination. SOLUTION: The gauge has a housing, a light source disposed in the housing, a bezel, a display and the pointer. The display is coupled to the housing and includes a display surface that is visible through an opening in the bezel. The display is spaced rearward of the bezel to define a light transmitting aperture. The pointer is movably mounted to the housing and includes a pointer end that is disposed on a side of the bezel opposite the light transmitting aperture. A first portion of the light produced by the light source can be employed to back-illuminate the display surface, while a second portion of the light produced by the light source can be collected by the pointer and employed to illuminate the pointer end. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously shield a fiber optic transceiver(FOT) to an optical fiber coupled to the FOT by a connector housing, and to appropriately impart tolerance. SOLUTION: In an FOT connector housing 10, which combines an FOT 20 with an optical fiber 20 and maintains them in order to keep a desired space between an FOT interface 17 and the optical fiber 22, EMI shielding for an FOT consists of an FOT metal casing 30 which is in contact with the wall of the casing to maintain the interface side of the FOT, the wall of the casing 30 has a thickness designed, so that the desired space between the FOT interface 17, and the optical fiber 22 is realized and maintained, and the metal casing 30 has spring members 30d which resists an FOT cavity 16, so that the FOT interface 17 is maintained, at a desired space from the optical fiber 22 under the strain of springs.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical terminal that complements the bolt and can engage with a fitting member so as to position the bolt, before the bolt is engaged with the fitting member. SOLUTION: The electrical terminal 10 comprises a first eyelet 12, a second eyelet 14, a spacer 16 which connects the first eyelet 12 and the second eyelet 14, nearly in parallel with a space on a coaxial arrangement, a holding part 32 that extends from the second eyelet 14 and positions the second eyelet 14 adjoining the fitting member, by engaging with the fitting member and aligns the first and second eyelet 12, 14 with the bolt insertion hole of the fitting member, and a means 28 installed on the first or second eyelet 12, 14 for connecting a conductor with the terminal.
