Abstract:
PURPOSE: An ATSC-MH broadcasting signal reconfiguration method, a module thereof, an ATSC-MH broadcasting receiver and a storage medium thereof are provided to reconfigure ATSC-MH encoded group format data from main stream data generated from an ATSC broadcasting receiver receiving an ATSC-MH RF broadcasting signal. CONSTITUTION: A main stream generating module(110) outputs main stream data including a MHE(Mobile Handheld Encapsulation) packet by passing an ATSC-MH(Advanced Television System Committee-Mobile Handheld) RF(Radio Frequency) signal through an existing ATSC receiver. An ATSC-MH broadcasting signal reconfiguring module(120) extracts identical PID(packet ID) slot data in the main stream data and reconfigures the ATSC-MH encoded group format data from the MHE packet. A mobile stream generating module(130) outputs mobile stream data from the ATSC-MH encoded group format data.

PURPOSE: A ground wave ultra high definition TV (UHDTV) broadcasting receiver and a ground wave UHDTV electrical transmission signal analyzer are provided to extract, decode, and output single UDHTV broadcasting data transmitted through two or more frequency channels. CONSTITUTION: A first ground wave receiver (510) receives a first ground wave broadcasting signal including HD broadcasting data, UHDTV sub-data, and null data to produce a baseband signal. A second ground wave receiver (520) receives a second ground wave broadcasting signal including UHDTV main data and null data to produce a baseband signal. UHDTV De-MUX (530) extracts and outputs UHDTV broadcasting data from the baseband signals of the first and second ground wave receivers. A UDHTV codec (535) decodes the UHDTV broadcasting data. [Reference numerals] (500) UHDTV receiver
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An ATSC-MH packet collection method using an ATSC receiver, ATSC-MH signal reconstruction method and device, ATSC-MH service data producing method and device, and a recording medium are provided to directly print MH slot unit data using a reference table; determining if the result data of an ATSC receiver is an effective MH slot, an odd number slot, or an even number slot; and comparing the result data with base data with respect to the output of the ATSC receiver. CONSTITUTION: A slot collection unit receives 188-byte packet data from an advanced television system committee (ATSC) receiver (160). The slot collection unit collects continuous 118 packets by assuming the packets as a mobile/handheld (MH) slot (161). The slot collection unit detects the position of base data according to each packet sequence number inside the collected slots and determines the effectiveness of the MH slot by comparing the position value with a reference table value without the occurrence of an error (162,163). The slot collection unit determines the collected slot as an effective even number slot or an effective odd number slot by confirming the reference table is in an even number slot or an odd number slot and outputs the slot data (164). [Reference numerals] (160) Receiving 188 byte packet from an ATSC receiver; (161) Collecting continuous 188 packet with the same PID; (162) There is an error ?; (163) Determining effectiveness by comparing the base data of a reference table with 188 packets assuming as a slot; (164) Outputting an MH slot by classifying even or odd slots by using the reference table if the MH slot is effective; (170) Comparing the data of the packet with the base data value corresponding to each order value of the reference table on each packet; (171) Determining an effective MK packet if there is data which is the same as the data of the reference table; (172) Collecting the MH packet to 116th packets by using the order value of MH packet determined as the MH packet as the order value of the reference table; (173) Collecting the MH packet, of which PID is matched to that of the previous MH packet and of which continuous counter value to before and after packets increases as much as 1, as 117th packet; (175) Outputting an MH slot by classifying even or odd slots based on the reference table
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An ATSC-MH packet type finder and an ATSC-MH broadcast signal generator for detecting the validity of the extracted MHE packet are provided to detect whether a receiving signal is ATSC receiving unit result data or the MHE packet of an ATSC-MH MUX according to the validity of the MHE packet. CONSTITUTION: A signaling data extracting unit of an ATSC-MH packet type finder(120) performs de-formatting and convolutional coding about the PID. The signaling data extracting unit extracts the data presumed as signaling data. The ATSC validation unit of the ATSC-MH packet type finder determines the validity as the signaling data. The ATSC validation unit determines whether the packets are valid as the MHE packet.

PURPOSE: A device including a broadcast signal parameter setting system and a computer readable recording medium thereof are provided to easily perform a parameter setting operation about an ensemble of a broadcast signal and a service using an inquiry system. CONSTITUTION: A main stream setting unit selects or inputs a main stream(100). An ensemble setting unit includes a manual and automatic ensemble parameter setting unit. The manual ensemble parameter setting unit enables a user to select or input a basic ensemble parameter corresponding to the selected main stream. A service setting unit includes a manual and automatic service parameter setting unit. A setting result display unit displays setting result of the units to a user.
