PURPOSE: A device including a broadcast signal parameter setting system and a computer readable recording medium thereof are provided to easily perform a parameter setting operation about an ensemble of a broadcast signal and a service using an inquiry system. CONSTITUTION: A main stream setting unit selects or inputs a main stream(100). An ensemble setting unit includes a manual and automatic ensemble parameter setting unit. The manual ensemble parameter setting unit enables a user to select or input a basic ensemble parameter corresponding to the selected main stream. A service setting unit includes a manual and automatic service parameter setting unit. A setting result display unit displays setting result of the units to a user.

A broadcasting signal generator for normal operation detection of a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver and a normal operation detecting system are provided to reappear the same broadcasting provision environment as real situation by simultaneously transmitting broadcasting signals of a frequency band corresponding to plural broadcasting stations by all-in-one system according to a programmed state. A multiplexer(110) receives signals from plural encoders and multiplexes the received signals. A modulator(120) modulates the signal inputted from the multiplexer. A splitter(130) divides the signal, inputted from the modulator, into plural frequency components and outputs the divided frequency components. RF(Radio Frequency) up-converters(151~156) convert the frequency component, divided and inputted by the splitter, into a signal of a specified frequency band and transmit the converted signal. The splitter further comprises a tuner for tuning a signal so as to be suitable for characteristics for each frequency components.

PURPOSE: A radio frequency broadcast signal transmission apparatus for test is provided to perform a radio frequency (RF) reception performance test according to the geographic position, moving speed, and moving direction of a broadcast reception apparatus generated in an actual broadcast environment. CONSTITUTION: A radio frequency (RF) broadcast signal transmission apparatus (130) converts a digital signal, which is RF broadcasting signal data, into an IF analog signal. The RF broadcast signal transmission apparatus converts the IF analog signal into the RF broadcast signal. The RF broadcast signal transmission apparatus transmits the converted RF broadcast signal. A global positioning system (GPS) output apparatus (150) displays GPS information corresponding to the RF broadcast signal transmitted by the RF broadcast signal transmission apparatus. A first power supply device (160) supplies a power source for the operation of each part from the outside. PURPOSE: A variable bit-rate control device for a broadcasting signal generator is provided to utilize a bandwidth allocated to a channel. CONSTITUTION: Variable bit rate broadcast data is generated from each encoder(101). A normalizing unit(120) readjusts the bit rate of the variable bit rate broadcast data. A monitoring-control unit(130) monitors the bit rate of the broadcast data inputted into a multiplexer(110) from each encoder. The monitoring-control unit monitors stuffing data rate of the broadcast data multiplexed by the multiplexer.

PURPOSE: A field test system for setting a transmission option of a broadcasting signal per a broadcasting region and a field test method are provided to perform a test by combining complicated broadcasting parameters of a second generation digital broadcast by analyzing a broadcasting signal by a control server. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting signal generating unit(110) generates an RF(Radio Frequency) broadcasting signal from broadcasting content. A plurality of test receivers(200) detects information data for measuring a broadcasting signal state corresponding to a parameter setting change from the RF broadcasting signal. The test receivers retransmit the detected information data and location information. A control server(300) analyzes broadcasting signals that the test receivers receive from the retransmitted information data.

PURPOSE: A UHDTV transmitting system and a UHDTV MUX are provided to transmit residual main UHDTV broadcasting data by using an additional ground wave channel and to transmit a part of UHDTV broadcasting data instead of a part of null data transmitted from an HD ground wave channel. CONSTITUTION: A UHDTV input unit (200) receives UHDTV data. A UHDTV MUX(210) adds a part of UHDTV data instead of a part of HD broadcasting signal null data to generate a first ground wave broadcasting signal. The UHDTV MUX adds the null data to residual UHDTV data to generate a second ground wave broadcasting signal. A first ground wave transmitting unit (150) transmits the ground wave broadcasting signal. A second ground wave transmitting unit (250) transmits the second ground wave broadcasting signal.

PURPOSE: A broadcast receiver for both advanced television systems committee(ATSC) and ATSC-mobile/handheld broadcasts is provided to smoothly receive the ATSC and ATSC-mobile/handheld broadcasts without degradation of receive sensitivity and receive failure. CONSTITUTION: An ATSC(Advanced Television System Committee) baseband converter(35) converts an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal of a tuner into an ATSC baseband signal. An ATSC-mobile/handheld(MH) baseband converter(36) converts the IF signal into an ATSC-MH baseband signal. A switching device(40) switches the IF signal and an AGC(Auto Gain Control) signal according to a selected broadcast mode. The switching device controls a switching process in order to provide feedback only with the AGC signal. A control block(50) controls each part.
