Abstract:
An emulsion composition is provided to improve skin delivering capability and skin adhesion property of ceramide and enhance moisturizing capability and moisturization persistency of the ceramide by encapsulating a ceramide ingredient with excellent moisturizing capability, a main skin lipid ingredient, into a nano-sized capsule particle and then formulating the encapsulated ceramide ingredient into an emulsion. An emulsion composition comprises a ceramide capsule formulation including 1.0-10.0 wt.% of ceramide as a core, 3.0-30.0 wt.% of a wax matrix layer encapsulating the ceramide and 0.1-30 wt.% of a polymer layer encapsulating the wax matrix, wherein a diameter of the ceramide capsule is 10-1,000 nanometers. A skin cosmetic composition comprises the emulsion composition. A method for preparing the emulsion composition comprises the steps of: (a) after dissolving ceramide, wax and polymer by heating, dispersing the solution using a homogenizer to prepare a hydrophobic mixture; and (b) after dissolving aqueous phase raw materials by heating, gradually adding the hydrophobic mixture thereto to emulsify. Further, a phase of the wax is solid at a room temperature.

An external skin composition containing omega-3 fatty acids is provided to restore damaged skin barrier, protect the skin from outside harmful environments, moisturize the skin, increase skin permeability of useful ingredients, and improve stability of omega-3 fatty acids. An external skin composition for improving skin health contains 0.5-3 wt.% of omega-3 fatty acids in a type of omega-3 fatty acid-containing oil such as black current oil, and is formulated as oil-in-water type emulsion having an oil droplet with omega-3 fatty acid and a water phase with lipid nanoparticles having no omega-3 fatty acid, wherein the omega-3 fatty acid is solubilized in ether oil phase or lipid nanoparticles in water phase of the oil-in-water type emulsion. Further, the external skin composition prevents or treats wrinkle of the skin.

A cosmetic composition containing plant extracts is provided to improve effects of skin moisturizing and skin elasticity by removing free radicals and increasing activity of protection factors in the skin with plentiful amounts of catechin, vitamin C and tocopherol in the plant extracts. A cosmetic composition contains 0.01-30.00 wt.%, preferably 0.1-20.00 wt.% of plant extracts(SATIN complex) including green tea extract, tangerine extract and soybean extract in a weight ratio of 1:1:1 to 10:1:1, and is formulated as soft lotion, nutrition lotion, massage cream, nutrition cream, pack, gel or skin adhesive type cosmetics.

CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.1-20 wt% of organic modified clay mineral and 0.01-5 wt% of buffer solution. The composition further contains oil and emulsifier with under 7 of HLB. The organic modified clay mineral is treated with dimethyl ammonium hectorite, benzyl dimethyl stearyl ammonium hectorite, or distearyldimethyl ammonium chloride-treated magnesium aluminum silicate quarternary ammonium type cationic surfactant.
