Abstract:
PURPOSE: A cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition containing decursin is provided to enhance the number of epidermal keratinocyte stem cells(KSC) and ensure anti-aging. CONSTITUTION: A composition for proliferating epidermal keratinocyte stem cells contains decursin as an active ingredient. The decursin is obtained from Angelica gigas Nakai ethanol extract or Angelica gigas Nakai supercritical extract. The Angelica gigas Nakai ethanol extract is obtained by adding ethanol, stirring and removing solvent. The Angelica gigas Nakai supercritical extract is obtained by preparing micro powder, and purifying using silica gel column chromatography. A cosmetic composition and a pharmaceutical composition for anti-aging contain a composition containing decursin as an active ingredient.

A composite powder is provided to exhibit a wide range of ultraviolet rays(UV-A and UV-B) blocking capability and show improved feeling of use and stability by supporting a metal oxide such as Ce and Fe in pores of an inorganic complex powder and an organic complex powder, thereby being usefully used for blocking the UV. A composite powder is characterized in that a metal oxide such as CeO2, TiO2, Fe2O3 and ZnO is supported in an inorganic powder or an organic polymer. A cosmetic composition for blocking UV comprises the composite powder as an effective ingredient. To prepare the composite powder, the inorganic powder or the organic polymer is reacted with at least one metal precursor selected from the group consisting of cerium chloride, cerium nitrate, iron chloride, iron nitrate, titanium isopropoxide, titanium butoxide, titanium sulfate, TiCl4, ZnCl4 and zinc acetate through co-precipitation or impregnation. Further, the inorganic powder has 200 to 900 m^2/g of specific surface area, 0.3 to 1.5cc/g of pore volume and 2 to 20nm of pore size.

A method for forming a surface structure on a synthetic mica is provided to remove shining of the raw material in a product by reducing glossiness of a raw material itself, and prevent darkness or braking of a makeup due to absorption of sebum oil by increasing oil absorptivity of the raw material. A method for forming a surface structure on a synthetic mica comprises the steps of: (1) treating a surface of a synthetic mica with 2 to 6 wt.% of an acid; (2) cooling the acid-treated synthetic mica to a temperature of 30 to 40 deg.C for 30 minutes to 2 hours to form a structure on the surface of the synthetic mica; and (3) performing coating of the structure-formed surface of the synthetic mica by a wet coating, dry coating or vapor phase coating process. The step(1) is conducted by applying an energy range of 500 to 1000 J/ml to the synthetic mica when treating the surface of the synthetic mica with the acid. The step(1) is performing using at least one acid selected from the group consisting of hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, and phosphoric acid. The step(3) is performed by using at least one coating material selected from the group consisting of methicone, triethoxycaprylylsilane, acrylate/tridecyl acrylate/triethoxysilypropylmethacrylate/dimethiconemethacrylate copolymer, and triethoxysilylethyl polydimethyl siloxyethylhexyl dimethicone.

A complex powder containing mogeoseog as a rock, a preparation method thereof, and a cosmetic composition containing the same complex powder are provided to enhance use feeling and improve color of mogeoseog, so that useful effects of mogeoseog emitting far-infrared rays and improving blood circulation are able to be applied to cosmetics. The complex powder containing mogeoseog is prepared by adhering the mogeoseog to spherical powder selected from silica, titan dioxide, polymethylmetacrylate, nylon and cellulose, or plate type powder selected from talc, sericite, mica and cerium oxide. The preparation method of the complex powder containing mogeoseog comprises the steps of: (i) adhering the mogeoseog powder to the surface of the spherical or plate type powder by using silicon derivative binder in solvent to prepare a complex; and (ii) pulverizing the complex with a rotary ball mill, wherein the binder is bishydroxyethoxypropyl dimethicone, cetyl PEG(polyethylene glycol)/PPG(polypropylene glycol)(10/1) dimethicone or dimethyl siloxane methyl(polyoxyethylene)-siloxene copolymer bishydroxyethoxypropyl dimethicone.

A method for preparing a surface-modified powder with water-repelling thin layer on the surface of organic or inorganic particles is provided to form a thin-film coating layer on the surface of the powder through physicochemical vapor reaction using a water-repellent having a high boiling point. The method comprises the steps of: (a) crushing powder to be subjected to the surface modification into particles having uniform particle size; (b) absorbing evaporated coating materials from the surface of the particles having uniform particle size using a water-repellent such as acryl silicone-based compounds and branched alkyl silicone compounds; and (c) modifying the surface of the particles with a compound including double bonds such as alkene or siloxane having a vinyl group as a terminal group. In the step(b), an alkyl silane is further added to the water-repellent.
