Abstract: A cosmetic composition containing amorphous semitransparent polymer gel bead is provided to protect and cure skin with pomegranate berries shape and enjoy make-up. A polymer bead comprises 0.02-0.08 weight% of pigment, 1.0-2.0 weight% of carrageenan, 0.3-0.8 weight% of agar, and 3.0~10 weight% of polyhydric alcohol. The polyhydric alcohol is a glycerine, butylenes glycol, propylene glycol or polyethylene glycol. A method for manufacturing a polymer gel bead comprises: a step of mixing inorganic pigment for water-dispersible of red and water and heating at 90-95°C; a step of resolving agar and carrageenan and adding polyhydric alcohol; and a step of cooling, pressing through fine nozzle to obtain the bead and washing the bead with purified water.
