The present invention relates to an oil-in-water (O/W) type nano-emulsion composition comprising an oil component containing oil and a polyethylene glycol ester-based emulsifier; and a water component containing a polyol or a polyol derivative. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic composition comprising the oil-in-water type nano-emulsion composition, and to a method for preparing the oil-in-water type nano-emulsion composition. According to the present invention, a nano-sized low-viscosity emulsion having a high inner phase can be obtained through the method that is different from the conventional methods of phase inversion temperature emulsification or high pressure emulsification, thereby significantly improving the stability of the emulsion. In addition, the nano-emulsion composition of the present invention can be added to a variety of cosmetic compositions having a variety of methods of use and can thus deliver active ingredients to the skin effectively since it has small-sized particles.

CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for controlling sebum contains Scoria as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition for tightening pores contains Scoria as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition for preventing skin problems contains Scoria as an active ingredient. The composition further contains Cryptomeria japonica extract, Brassica camperstris(rapeseed) flower extract, Bambusa vulgaris extract, or Camellia sinensis leaf extract. The composition contains 0.0001-80.0 wt% of extract.

PURPOSE: An oil-in-water cleansing composition containing alkane polyol is provided to improve stability and moisturizing feeling and to ensure convenience. CONSTITUTION: An oil-in-water cleansing composition contains 0.5-20 wt% of alkane polyol, 30-60 wt% of oil, and 0.1-10 wt% of polymer tackifier as an active ingredient. The composition further contains 0.01-1.5 wt% of surfactant. The alkane polyol is C3-C15 polyol such as hexane diol, heptane diol, octane diol, hexane diol, heptane triol, octane triol, octane tetraol, or nonane tetraol. The oil is higher alcohol advanced fatty acid esters, triglycerides, or silicon oil.

CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing discoloration of natural pigment contains 0.001-5 weight% of enzymatically modified rutin and 0.001-10 weight% of green tea extract as an active ingredient. The active ingredient further contains betain or vitamin C. The composition further contains 0.001-10 weight% of pH adjusting agent or 0.001-10 weight% of surfactant. The natural pigment is Gardeniae Fructus yellow, Gardeniae Fructus blue, Gardeniae Fructus green, Gardeniae Fructus red, and Monascus red.

CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling phase inversion temperature comprises a step of adding polyol or inorganic salt during manufacturing oil-in-water emulsion through phase inversion technology. An emulsion for manufacturing oil-in-water emulsion contains glyceryl stearate, ceteareth-20, ceteareth-12, or cetearyl alcohol. The polyol is glycerin, butylenes glycol, sorbitol, or xylitol.
