    Abstract: The present invention relates to an image fusion device and a method thereof and, more particularly, to an image fusion device and a method thereof for fusing infrared rays images and visible images by solving an error of infrared rays images photographed by an infrared (IR) camera and an error of visible images photographed by a visible camera. The image fusion method comprises the steps of: adjusting a first image of an object to be photographed as a visible image produced by the visible camera and a second image of the object as an infrared rays image produced by the IR camera; converting the brightness of the second image adjusted based on the brightness of the adjusted first image; and fusing the brightness of the converted second image by the adjusted first image.
