    Abstract: PURPOSE: An ultra wideband radar and an ultra wideband radar operation method are provided to implement an ultra wideband radar operation method in a sequential sampling method without using a high speed sampler. CONSTITUTION: A radar transmitting part(100) generates a pseudorandom noise signal. The pseudorandom noise signal is emitted through a first filter part. The radar transmitting part samples the pseudorandom noise signal through the first filter part. The pseudorandom noise signal is stored as a first digital signal. A radar receiving part(200) receives the pseudorandom noise signal from a target. The pseudorandom noise signal is sampled through a second filter part and is stored as a second digital signal. A data processing part(300) filters the first digital signal and the second digital signal.
